For who? Sam Fluffydice.
A giant crab like sideways movement.
If there’s a credible alternative that would like the gig I’m all ears especially if we lose to Fulham & Bournemouth

For who? Sam Fluffydice.

That last paragraph f**king nails my thoughts on the matter.Anonymous wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 2:18 pm Still missing the point imo.
I've been trying to talk about the weaknesses of Marsch's system, here and elsewhere, ever since he was appointed. The response has continually, and pretty much exclusively, been in the form of people saying, yeah but he saved us from Bielsa's folly.
It isn't an answer, and it never has been. Leaving aside the pointless arguments about whether Bielsa was 'taking us down', or whether Marsch 'kept us up', not one person has spelled out to me why they believe Marsch's system can succeed in the premier league. It's always, give him time, wait until he's got his own players, etc.
His time is now up. He's a proven failure, and he will be taking us down if we persist with him. He's demonstrated that he's not capable of getting the required ppg against teams outside the top six. Game over. Really, the value of Bielsa as an exemplar now is in the kind of coach we should be looking for next.

Anyway here's your superteam you could've selected from the available

Yeah 1 win from 5 against the big 6 is definitely reason to keep him. Oh but of course under Bielsa we didn't beat any of the top 6 last season. And we're not allowed to go back to the season when Bielsa done good are we so we can't mention beating City away or being unbeaten in all our home games against 'big 6.'Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 3:00 pm Amazing that we have to sack a manager who's team always seems to play very well against the top 6![]()

I thought that was the season that massively flattered us?weasel wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 3:11 pm Yeah 1 win from 5 against the big 6 is definitely reason to keep him. Ssssh don't mention how well Bielsa did in that first season cos it's not allowed cos we had some marvelous squad and the big 6 hadn't been allowed to spend any money etc.

My agreement with Chilli D comments is just that, all the things that were written were completely true. I not comparing Jesse's recordKennyb41 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 7:33 am Are they valid ?
Is comparing a run of 6 very unfortunate run of fixtures when crippled to 100+ games actually valid ?
Hey Jesses just had 2 defeats against Arsenal and Leicester...He's got Fulham, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Spurs to come...are we gonna judge him on that piss easy run...ok then, let's go baby get your valid judging eyes on.

And that's the nub. Marsch's result haven't ever been much better than they are now which is similar to Bielsa at his poorest rather than accross Bielsa's whole reign.Musicman1965 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 4:05 pm My agreement with Chilli D comments is just that, all the things that were written were completely true. or the results he has achieved. The Valid points are what is actually written not the bits you choose to add on. Was Bucket Be-lsie's results poor to the later end of his time with Leeds. The fact is yes. Our goal difference is one the worst in Leeds History. He was fired for good reason for not doing his job. Tell me my facts are wrong, facts mind not some made up opinion. Time to get over Be-lsie Bucket and move on...

But after 10 games of the new season, with a newish team to mould. Its doesn't seem like a fair comparrison

Yeah silly me will wait till after we get relegated then judge.Musicman1965 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 4:23 pm But after 10 games of the new season, with a newish team to mould. Its doesn't seem like a fair comparrison

Looks like the knives are out and everything will pan out soon. In the world of Football Premiership Managers you have to hit the ground running or the axe falls. You are probably right, results are everything and no one person is greater than the club itself. I just hope if Jesse does go that they go for someone with Premier League experience and that has achieved something.weasel wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 4:31 pm Yeah silly me will wait till after we get relegated then judge.
He had a dozen matches last season to get accustomed to the league. He has had all summer to get the team used to how he wants them to play and 3 of the 5 players brought in know his tactics.
If there were signs of progress then it may be a fair point. If it looked like the team was beginning to gel and improve then yes give him more time. Yes were unlucky against Arsenal but not so much so in the other matches.

Agree with weasel below.Musicman1965 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 4:23 pm But after 10 games of the new season, with a newish team to mould. Its doesn't seem like a fair comparrison
