As an business organisation they should be ready, truth is they spent far too much time fannying about on other projects rather than concentrating on LUFC matters in hand.

Its not ideal and its not fair on Bielsa.

Bit concerned that he clearly wasnt thrilled by Ronnie Vs sale and then Forshaws injury, he doesnt know if the club will replace Vieira.

Think if Bielsa has his way there will be 3 signings more at least.

The biggest problem we have, I feel, is the undercutting of his ideal preparation time. Newcomers will be held back until they are, in his eyes, proficient with his methods. Against Stoke and Derby he is going to have a baptism of fire, because all the other Championship teams will know about his methods, how he wants his team to play, and they will have schooled their players in how best to combat his methods.

His strength, therefore, is also, potentially, our Achilles heel. This may take time to overcome and I hope that our boo-boys don't get on the warpath before our season has really started. I saw Pulis interviewed this aft on Sky. He was saying that he doesn't have all the players in that he needs for the start of the season. He then spoke about Stoke in 2008 when he didn't have all the players in he needed then either and they had a bad start....but as the players he wanted eventually came in, they went on and got promoted to the Premier League. As he said, "a poor start doesn't necessarily mean a poor finish, it's a long season"

He isnt stupid, he is going to know there are gaping gaps in it.

Clearly wasnt happy with the Vieira sale.

And under Monk we had a really slow start but then built momentum so hopefully we can do that if we have a slow start under Bielsa (although not the ending that we had with Monk).

Yes we did because we didn't sign Pontus until after the season had started

Once again we left our recruitment far too late, If our management had got their act together earlier we wouldn't be expecting a slow start where we could lose vital points, two of the three summer months were wasted

He needs to remind his bosses the promises they made to him & our fans, so far as you mentioned previously we've only spent £3m as the Bamford fee has been cancelled out by the Vieira sale, once again we are doing our business on the cheap

I’m expecting a slow start but agree with previous posts, as long as the fans don’t get restless it’ll be a work in progress. I’m expecting to see bettervteam performances after they’ve played half a dozen games with each other.

They wouldnt, especially after the Myanmar debacle.

There would be outcry if Cellino was here, he'd sold Vieira and this was his window not Radz.

People would be demanding he follows through on what he said, it wasnt even an implication, he blatantly said it, "if it was legal i will do it".
