Are you confessing that you are one of the many guises of the moron? That is one hell of a split personality. How do you cope in a room on 'your own?'

I scan through everything from Newsnow, Leeds-Live, The Athletic and all the Leeds journo's on the day of the debate to make sure everything is on topic. Thanks for all the support everyone, and I'm happy to listen to ideas about making it better. Any suggestions will be gladly received!!!mentalcase wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 4:39 pm What difference does it make whether the topic is FACT or not ??
It's a flaming website, a LU fans FORUM, not, an official LUFC forum, if you want up to date stuff, which again, is very limited from the official club website then you have a choice.
Just like all the other threads / topics on here, they're all debatable aren't they, some taken more seriously than others, but it's a bloody fans forum, not an official secrets act.
Many topics I skim through and don't get involved in, the ones I do, I don't even engage with certain posters who are never wrong, and some that are simply trolls.
Keep it going Matt![]()

Certainly, one of you headings last week said Raphinha to stay at ER. So I open the thread to see that qualified, turns out it was someone's opinion that he should stay.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 4:55 pm I'm happy to tweak, though I'm not understanding what you mean. This thread you have Cresswell and Hjelde to be sent out on loan next season, so naturally I'm looking for club confirmation that they are making both available for loan... It's opinion, you're stating it as fact with the initial headline..
It's a bit like me starting a thread that says Eddie Nketiah to sign for Leeds, only to refute it in the following passage.
There, I don't think any of that is insulting... It's just an opinion, I like accuracy in my reporting.
You do a great job, though even if we seldom agree on matters Leeds United...

Arrr, Ok. They are just suggestive headlines, but I understand. I can certainly add a question mark to the headline!!!faaip wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 5:17 pm Certainly, one of you headings last week said Raphinha to stay at ER. For the anoraks that like to split hairs, why don't you post your own topics every day, and then we can pull them apart

Some people must be so conceited they find fault in everything, bar themselves of course.

I would echo you do a great job and it can't be easy finding new stuff every day. One suggestion might be to simply put stuff like, in the opinion of (and then list the source). Similar to you I click on a lot of the news now links and so many are just a waste of time or somebody writing a whole story based in a couple of words somebody said etc.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 5:34 pm Arrr, Ok. I think that sums up the difference though between reporting something as in it being factual and someone offering their opinion.mentalcase wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 5:46 pm Imagine that Matt, someone likes " accuracy" in their reporting, then has the brass neck to put firpo down as motm, and roberts in his stating 11, couldn't make it up![]()

No point having a go at EB though is there !!
His posts are coming from other sources, like I say, if folk don't like them, don't get involved, especially the ones concerning the BD.

Well this opened up a whole can of worms. I’d just give people the finger but then I’m obviously not as patient as you.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 5:34 pm Arrr, Ok. They are just suggestive headlines, but I understand. I can certainly add a question mark to the headline!!!

Is the debate is opinion wrapped up as reporting, hence my comments.
But it matters not it seems.
Adios ameobas.

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 27th May) - Aaronson pens five year deal
Why would someone leave the forum on the basis that there opinion was not universally supported. Kenny is a shining example of resilience.
William has posted many erudite and insightful comments. This is a forum and every opinion is no less valuable than any other. Disagreements and a bit of needle is what makes it interesting and fresh. If we all agreed on everything it would become stale.
Let’s not get too hung up on forum headlines and whether they would hold up in court. I for one enjoy the debates regardless of whether the headline has strong provenance.
Incidentally, a mate who works for the daily star told me ‘Bielsa is now living on the moon’. Start building your rocket Kenny.
