Knew you loved us really.
Finally recognising our greatness

I'd be very disappointed in KP if he allowed himself to become a high profile face of the murderous regime at Newcastle.

Very true, JohnJohn in Louisiana wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 3:40 pm Owners will make the same decision owners have always made. If they think they're getting paid more than the player is worth, they'll sell. If they think the player has lost his usefulness, they'll let him go. Owners are a very unsentimental lot. Even Bremner was cut loose. Pablo was sent packing (if anyone deserved a season in the EPL he did). Venture capitalists or local owners, it doesn't matter. They've always been the same.
I'd like to think Kalvin is a special case, Leeds born and bred, but I know better.

Where they getting £60m from?Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 2:43 pmWhat utter nonsense.
Phillips is never going to leave us for Villa, not a chance, he already rejected them when we were in the Championship and they were in the Premier League.
Furthermore it would totally ruin any credibility Radz and the 49ers have.
Sell KP to a team who allegedly have the same ambition we have of breaking the top 6, that would ruin any credibility Radz has.
Not gonna happen![]()

Yes.Cjay wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 1:22 pm Weasel floated this idea so here we go . . . .
Tin hat on
If you were in charge and a club offered £70mil for KP this summer would you take it?
Keeping in mind he wouldn't be playing the same role Bielsa used him in which is the only role he has ever shone in.
He doesn't look anywhere near as good for England next to Declan Rice in the role Southgate uses him in and that according to Marsch is similar to how he would use him.
And he is very injury prone over the last few years missing dozens of matches.
So what would you do?
