Once again, I think it will be less than 40 points for survival.

Norwich will struggle to get into double-figures, they are poor. We made them look good, Boo.

No one has gone down on 38 points in a long time ‘64. At an average of one point a game it would have to be a season long malaise to see us getting less than that. There are enough so so teams and swings in form in other teams to see us safe, even if it’s only just. Yesterday’s three points were critical to establish this position.

That may have been the best they have played for a while, if not so far this season. There was also going to be a reaction with so many heads on the line so, while we did not play well, it was a really good result. Not playing well and getting three PL points away from home is definitely another reason to be cheerful.

Yesterday’s three points were critical to establish this position.

That may have been the best they have played for a while, if not so far this season. There was also going to be a reaction with so many heads on the line so, while we did not play well, it was a really good result. Not playing well and getting three PL points away from home is definitely another reason to be cheerful.

Norwich had drawn their 2 previous games, 0-0, prior to the Chelsea beating so it is hardly like teams are just turning up and beating them. Chelsea, like Liverpool, City, Man U are capable of thrashing any team on their day so the 7-0 was a simply a bad day for Norwich. Norwich knew this was a potentially winnable game, rather than the so called 'free pass' shot against the previously mentioned teams.

It wasn't a must win game for us but it certainly was an important win and hopefully helps build the confidence up a bit so we get back to playing like we can.
