So do I, we use spotrac for drafts involving salaries. But I think it's public knowledge in the US (Players salaries), here it's not and there's a certain amount of guesswork I would imagine

Yeah, your right, it's a lot more transparent over there for sure.
Can't wait for the NFL to start next week- think it's going to be a cracking season.
It might be the year for the Bills to break their hoodoo but I hope not being a Pats fan! ( since 1984 before I get accused of Glory Hunting!) :)

I'm a Raider fan since 79/80 no way I can be accused of being a glory hunter recently.

Helder's contribution to Bamford's goal v Fulham in our promotion season shouldn't be forgotten. He may not have shone but that goal was vital with Fulham being on top and us looking very shaky in our second game back after the covid enforced break. If we'd lost to Fulham that day I wouldn't have been confident that we'd have got promoted.

Costa being dropped by Valencia manager now, looks like he will struggle to get a place there now, not only us think he's shite then.

Pity, it doesnt help us either.

A successful loan spell coukd have led to us recouping some coin from him.

Yep, another great piece of recruitment that will leave us out of pocket yet again.

Yes ,totally agree, gotta be honest and say, I didn't want him in the first place, always looked to flimsy on the ball and was actually in a good wolves team that flattered him, we never learn.

Leeds United loanee Hélder Costa has admitted he arrived at Valencia from a ‘not so good situation’ at Elland Road.

The forward joined the Spanish side on loan at the end of the summer transfer window, with Leeds electing to let him go when they signed Dan James.

He endured something of a disastrous start to life in Spain, failing to establish himself in Jose Bordalas’ plans and earning plenty of criticism as a result.

That was followed by a dose of Covid chaos during the last international break, which threatened to turn his loan deal into a nightmare.

Instead, the opposite has happened, with the player working hard to get into Bordala’s plans and earn his place.

He’s now earning rave reviews for his performances, particularly the defensive effort that he is showing under his new manager.

That’s a weakness he knows he has to work on, and admits his slow start was due to the situation he was living at Leeds before his arrival.

“I feel better here, I came from a not so good situation,” Super Sport report him saying.

“But Valencia have given me the opportunity to relaunch my career and I think this is the ideal place to do that.

“I hope to be up to the challenge. I didn’t have continuity of games, but the coach has given me a chance and I want to make the most of it.

“I know I have to improve my weaknesses.”

Spanish media reporting that whilst Valencia would be interested in taking Costa on a permanent deal in the summer they would require a significant reduction in price.

LUFC are reportedly trying to get most of the £21mil he cost them back but Valencia want to pay less than half that, around £10mil.

Costa has become a regular for Valencia all be it with only 1 assist this season and no goals.

Marca now reporting that Helder Costa is now of no interest to Valencia.

Since the arrival of Bryan Gil Costa has become a passenger and has only played 25minutes in the last 5 games.

Valencia have no interest in buying him even for a reduced fee of £9mil.

The chances of us getting rid of Costa for anything like the fee we paid for him is non existent and his wages which will reflect his status as a record signing when he arrived and a Jorge Mendes client will be a major issue.

He is likely one of our highest paid players, certainly top 5 I'd say.
