Pick 6 horses in any order

9 points if you pick the winner
7 points for the 2nd
5 points for the 3rd
3 points for the 4th
2 points for the 5th
1 points for the 6th
1 point if any of your horses finish outside the first six

64 - shouldn’t there be a difference between 6th and outside of that

According to that scoring you’d get 1pt if your horse finished 6th or 26th

How about:
1st - 10
2nd- 7
3rd- 5
4th - 4
5th - 3
6th - 2
7th+ And finishing - 1

Oh I didn't notice that. That's a point for just being in the race.

Good point Cat, I've amended the scoring

A bonus point if your horse actually crosses the finishing line

2018 - only 12 out of 38 runners completed the race. (the rest fell, brought down or pulled up)
2019 - only 19 out of 40 runners completed the race. (the rest fell, brought down or pulled up)

Fair enough, I forgot about that aspect.

Yes, to actually pick 6 that all finish would be an achievement in itself.
