Mate, I literally told you in the group chat that Forest were toast. walking straight into a trap, but no, everyone didn't believe me, they never do.

Who was it that started rambling about their bench depth well, Daniel Farke is looking like a tactical genius, and Glasner has been proper schooled twice now, just like I said he would. I knew it as far back as last season that if we met them in the cup, Farke would annihilate them.

It was blindly obvious to anyone who actually understands football on a granular level; I’ve been analyzing Forest’s defensive transition metrics all week, and the second Farke set up with that inverted double-pivot to suffocate their mid-block, the match was decided in the tactical phase.

Most casual fans just blindly watch the ball, but while everyone else was sweating bullets, I was watching the space, like I always do, reading the press triggers, and literally raising my pint to call the opening goal by Dan James, written off by many, but he's Bielsa's boy, and Bielsa don't make mistakes.

I'm not getting carried away with beating Forest twice! They aren't great. 2 wins, yeah, great! But Brentford will be a much bigger test on Sunday! If we win that then I'll believe we could be on to something. I do believe we have bought well...

Aye it was a good watch - some decent interplay at times. All looks pretty rosy so far, especially as Farke’s teams are generally slow starters.

It was but showed the importance of having a decent keeper. I made the point at half time about Trafford punching the ball away in the second minute and getting it out of the area - unlike limp wrists Meslier, and also unlike jittery Perri who never really looked comfortable with crosses. Then Trafford not getting caught out by the mishit cross - unlike Meslier against Everton. Trafford made it comfortable.

Burnley went up because he made the difference so many times and Burnley won matches they should have lost. With Meslier, Perri or Darlow we could just as easily lost both games.
