Feck me - Villa do look to be in complete disarray off the pitch in terms of who has left etc. They had a slow start last year then overachieved - I didn't think they looked anything special. Could be an interesting season for them.

Don't know why anyone would have predicted a Villa win. Brighton very stable whereas Villa have lost their best players. Emi Martinez a big loss, as is Teulemans, Konsa and Watkins (even though I can't stand the pr*ck).

Wouldn't be surprised as his stock is high. Could just leave and wait a few weeks for a big job to come up.

Some very inconsistent refereeing this season and we're only a few matches in.

Aina deserved red yesterday and two very clear yellow cards not given in City v Bournemouth. Players looking at the ref in astonishment.
