I'm hoping Blues get promoted and Villa go down that will be salt in the wounds.

Good bunch the Brum fans 👍

Nah. They've lost £290m in three years, even WITH the restrictions on spending. They are completely unsustainable and will be the next Leicester. The owners flogged all the assets too, so have nothing left to sell except the players.

They haven't lost that much.

But the greedy 6 many of them have lost more but they've made the rules, so it doesn't matter

Scr is entirely tiered to teams like Chelsea and Manure allowing them to spend more than the others.

Teams who got in before financial rules came in.

They have. Why do people think these sugar daddies are going to keep funding these losses forever for teams they have no connection to? This is why we need spending control and clubs need to be self sustainable.

Stand corrected I read the wrong information.

But teams like Chelsea and Manure are 2 or 3 times that in debt.

Seems unfair to force other teams to sell whilst others can carry 1billion of debt.

I agree we need financial controls but not these.

These are just a closed shop insurance.

The Super League in a more pr friendly form (same goes for the Champions League)

Tottenhamhave apparently agreed to pay a combined fee of £130million for Omar Marmoush and Savinho.

With the £45mil we paid for Trafford
£50mil they got for Reijnders

They will have made about a £70-80mil profit on players they didn't even use much.

They aren't even trying to hide the corruption anymore.

Spuds are buying 2 players off Manchester City for a combined £130million giving Man City a nice profit on 2 players they hardly used.

The profit is even better because most of the £130mil is being paid on the player who cost Man City the least (and who they used least) who coincidentally his former club don't have a nice chunky sell on for.

And 20 teams being owned by gulf states is great how exactly? If PSR didn't exist, Newcastle and Man City would spend billions and every summer and this would force other clubs to overspend to try and compete. Which would inevitably lead to bankruptcy.

When will they realise Villa and Newcastle just aren't as big as they think they are. If there was one club who could potentially challenge the greedy six without needing a sugar daddy, it's probably us, due to our commercial income. Only Kieran Maguire seems to agree though.

Yeah always seemed a strange one buying Newcastle, huge in Newcastle but not so much worldwide. Think they needed to sign Mbappe, Ronaldo, Messi type players to raise their profile worldwide. Same with Villa no real worldwide support. As such for both of them there is limited money to be brought in from outside of these shores. Wrexham have done well to raise their profile but it is cos of the Hollywood link and it being great for tv documentaries - however if they get to the prem they will stay as a small fish in a big pond - a limit really as to how far the Hollywood factor can take them.

We though have the worldwide support, which admittedly will have dwindled over the years but makes us the sleeping giant.

Man City were able to bypass the problems that Newcastle and Villa have experienced. They were able to spend huge amounts but rather than just on players they have put huge infrastructure in place in the main the facilities around the stadium where they have state of the art training facilities etc. As such, along with their feeder clubs, they are able to make huge profits by bringing in young kids and then selling them for a fortune. So they are now in a position where they can still spend lots but are able to comply with the financial restrictions in place.

I see so many Man City shirts these days too. I've never met a Newcastle or Villa fan who wasn't from the local area, but have met Leeds fans from places like London, Devon and Cornwall.

Villa have only won one league title in 120 years, even the dog botherers have won three times as many in that time. They were a big club when only 20 or so clubs existed, and their main rivals were Accrington Stanley and Notts County, but that's it. That's not because of the greedy six.

We're doing it the right way, by increasing capacity at ER and building a fanzone to boost income. We've always sold players to comply, even if it cost us relegation and promotion. Villa and Newcastle just want to cheat and use short cuts like Chelsea and Man City did.

It's a closed shop regardless.

It isn't possible for other clubs to catch up commercially with the greedy 6.

We may get a £500mil sort of thing in a few seasons.

By then they will be £800mil

And so on and so forth.

And Bradford and Huddersfield will complain that they'll never compete with our revenue, that's just how it is. There will always be bigger companies. McDonald's is bigger than the local burger takeaway, Universal records are bigger than an indie label, EE are bigger than Tesco mobile etc.

The effect that sustained success plus having icons of the game does for you - Haaland the prime example but also Rodri, DeBruyne, Aguero etc.

That's why we need to take the cups seriously. Europe I don't think is too far off. If Bournemouth, Sunderland, Brighton, Crystal Palace can all qualify, so can we.

Hull fans apparently annoyed because Joe Cole aside from being dismissive of their chances in the league he apparently said things about Hull as a place.

They should remember Joe Cole is thick as mince and ignore it.
