Or maybe we are waiting to see if we can get a decent fee for Perri. Might be a bit like the Messlier situation in that we end up keeping Perri due to lack of interest but don't really trust him to start.

There's more to come from Perri. We didn't pay £17m for him for nowt. He should be given another chance because there is a very good keeper there somewhere! Maybe he tried too hard to impress last year. He is a better keeper than we have seen...

Agree he deserves another go next season, however we need Darlow or someone better in the background incase it doesn't work for Perri.

Don't think we'll be seeing Aaronson in the starting lineup any longer.

Not a bad thing for him, though. He'll still be a very valuable player backing up both CMF and the left wing and will still get plenty of minutes as the season progresses.

I'm not so sure about that. Depends on the shape. I commented in another thread that if we go to a 3-4-2-1 he might just get the nod to play next to Wilson below with DCL up top. That role would require two players that can easily move from wide areas to the middle. And both Wilson and Aaronson can fit that bill. Okafor is not a player that like to work in the middle. Neither is James. And Aaronson does have more of an offensive pedigree than Tanaka for example.

Anyway, I still kinda hope we sell Aaronson. But this is a scenario in which I could see him helping us.

This is an argumentative viewpoint.
I am surprised no one’s mentioned it.
The idea that it will be on Farke if the silver bullet Wilson doesn’t turn us in to a mid table team at the very least. He had a great last season at Fulham but that doesn’t guarantee anything. What was he like before that. Wasn’t he a bit meh.
Will be a few WC players that change hands for silly money but they don’t always work out.

Perri to Torino will be a loan
