He's a CONCACAF Referee. We see him all the time in international competitions here. Both Club and Country. He's actually pretty decent, but today I think he went overboard with stoppage time. Hell, we played an extra 41 minutes total.

I thought he had a decent game overall.

Re: hydration breaks, I’ve come around to some degree after having been a purist at the start of the tournament. Some of the temps played in have been extraordinary (Mexicos venues, Kansas City and Miami come to mind stateside). And the breaks haven’t been long enough to show much in the form commercials (thank God!). There have been some instances of slowing/altering momentum, but generally, they haven’t been as awful as I originally had thought.

Generally curious what others thoughts are now that we’re this far in the tournament.

I get it for the temperatures.

But I still see it as a money grab and an opportunity to break up the game and give the coaches a chance for a tactical chat.

It's needed sometimes but I think it should he more controlled.

No tactical chats, only in certain temperatures.

USA 1 - 0 Bosnia & Herzigovina

I thought the USA played with a lot of energy in the first half. But Bosnia was able to impose their physicality a bit. Trying to draw the US into their type of game. We didn't fall for it. We stayed on point and moved the ball quickly. And it let to some chances, one of which Balo was able to convert. I like our chances to open this up in the 2nd half. Go Go USA!!!
