Cjay actually has Farke imprinted on his brain.
He goes in to a sweet shop:
“half a pound of Farke Imperials please”
“Do you mean Mint Imperials”
“Yes. Farke you very much for correcting me”
It does seem, at times, as if he lives there rent-free :duno: Is it possible that Cjay is an anagram for Daniel Farke (now cue Sean Nile)--that's some straight-up Da Vinci Code material

Deep down he loves him.
Most likely has a poster of him on his bedroom wall and Farkes autobiography “Unbelievable” tucked away under his pillow.
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Gnonto gave us absolutely nothing in the last game starting in place of Aaronson. So Brenden goes back in the starting lineup for me. And I would go with Piroe as the striker. There is no f**king way I play Bamford. Gruev in midfield. Ampadu in defense. Darlow in goal.

The weak link in our lineup has been Meslier. So that's the major change for me.

I’d give Piroe the first half. Hopefully the early substitution lit a fire/gave a needed rest (flogged like so many in the first team). But if he’s still “missing”, I’d insert Bamford. His movement creates opportunities for others to score…something that’s been lacking recently. Definitely don’t want him taking the shots :)

I agree that starting Paddy seems to sniff of desperation. But I also agree with Cjay that Piroe is the sort of striker who must get good supply to be scoring, and Aaronson has not been doing that of late.
But he does seem the least risky option - so Brendon behind Piroe and bring on Paddy at 60min if its not going well.

Also agree Amps at the back and Tanaka and Gruev in the middle.

This is a must win game. To help us along, I have put in my score in the pool at us losing 2-1. That is sure to see us absolutely thrash them tomorrow - the way my forecasts have been going. :)

So, we have Boro, Preston, Oxford, Stoke, Bristol C and Plymouth. We have 6 of 15 from our last 5

Burnley have Derby, Norwich, Watford, Sheffield U, QPR, Millwall. They have 13 of 15 points from their last 5.

Sheffield have Millwall, Plymouth, Cardiff, Burnley, Stoke and Blackburn. They took 10 of their last 15.

Current form does not favour us. The damn international break has knee-capped us again.

Lose against Boro and that's it for this season in my opinion. (I don't even want to talk about the playoffs).

Well damn it, Cjay, that does just suck the fun out of it :roflmao:

Although, is it possible that your brain subconsciously selected the transcript with the farkism? I'm going to tell myself that this is most certainly the case ;-)

Sean_Nile wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 12:08 pm The concept of wisdom of the crowd was first formally proposed by Francis Galton in 1907. He observed a contest at a livestock fair where about 800 people guessed the weight of an ox. While individual guesses varied widely, the average of all the guesses was remarkably accurate, within 1 pound of the actual weight.

Galton published his findings in the journal Nature, showing that the collective judgment of a crowd could be more accurate than that of individual experts. This laid the foundation for the idea that groups, under the right conditions, can make smart decisions.

Applying wisdom of the crowd to fans' opinions about a team's success or failure can be insightful, but it needs structure. Here's how it can work:

Diverse opinions: Fans have different perspectives, some focus on tactics, others on player mentality, injuries, or management decisions. Collecting a wide range of views gives a fuller picture. On MOT we have a wide variety of negative and positive view, though more leaning towards the negative.

Independence: To avoid echo chambers, gather opinions before big media narratives or social media trends dominate. How many fans take their opinions from TSB?

Decentralization: Fans close to the club, like season ticket holders, may notice things others don't (e.g., body language, effort levels), adding local insight. Are the opinions of those who attended the game more valid?

The wisdom of the crowd provides a balanced, collective judgment that can highlight deeper issues than media headlines. Clubs sometimes use this indirectly via fan sentiment analysis for decisions or communications. It can also influence fan-driven movements or put pressure on club leadership. Did fans opinions influence the removal of Meslier?

Going by the wisdom of the crowd as put forth on this Forum, Leeds will not be promoted.
It would be interesting to calculate the wisdom of the crowd on MOT for how many points Leeds will get in the last 6 games.

Looks like you droped Bogle as well... more than 1/3 of the previous team.

Draw 14/5
4.5 for the score draw,
13 for a 2-2 correct score.

The bookies are offering a 250% return to cash out my bet on Burnley as winners.

Didn't seem to have much confidence in Howson in the centre back role. Compared him to Colonel Tom doing laps with his zimmer frame.
