They play less games in the prem ....you'd need the average ppgEllandback1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 1:56 pm Leeds United have won more points than any other team in the top four tiers of English football in 2024 (96), only the third time they've done so in a year, along with in 1969 (70 pts) and 2009 (104 pts).

Ampadu left out. Wasn't expecting that. Perhaps carrying a niggle?

Rest I would have thought. Surprised no rest for Rodon if we are resting players now

I had to look it up. They say 1981. I thought it was way before that.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 1:58 pm 2 points for a win in those days, when was the change made Ell?
I'd also say it would be fairer for 4 points for a win, and two for a draw...

Farke playing the A team, mostly, as Ampadu gets a rest.

Harder to rest Rodon as it would mean Ampadu having to play there, or the French lad. Plus resting centrebacks is not a good idea, in my opinion, as it is the most crucial area on thepitch for keeping things settled and having an understanding. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 2:04 pm Rest I would have thought. Only concern with the line-up would be that Tanaka and Rothwell both played last time against Blackburn and we didn't win.

Tanaka & Rothwell again, good move to rest Amps. Rotation has worked well for DF recently, can’t see any reason we can’t get 3 points from this team.

Probably an incentive - particularly now that Amps is back and firing.weasel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 2:11 pm Harder to rest Rodon as it would mean Ampadu having to play there, or the French lad. Amps and Tanaka didnt quite work on Sunday so I suppose we go back to what works best.
