It's more to do with wages than him being too good. The wage bill would absolutely cripple us, and with no parachute payments to help, we'd need the 49ers to keep us afloat basically.

We also have had 7 games without Marsch, and only scraped a win v the bottom team. So surely we'd have been in great form if it was all Marsch's fault?

When you compare us to them it's easy to conclude we have been poorly managed in one way or another be that with the manager in the firing line or the board themselves.

Not really, we've added a number of high quality 21's and some very good first teamers.

Hard to say really, there shouldn’t be too much pressure to sell and that’s how we need to set out our stall or we will end up getting low offers for everyone. Also players may want to leave but unless they have release clauses we don’t have to sell unless good offers come in. Top of my head I’d say those who go will be:

Rodrigo - not worth much and wages high
Adams - defo get decent offers for him
Koch - already rumours of interest
Llorente - half out already
Gnonto - maybe, depends on offers
Harrison - gift wrap him myself
Bamford - could get interest from a promoted side.
Meslier - shame but he isn’t irreplaceable

Sinisterra hasn’t done enough for us to recoup his cost.

Board have made mistakes, all boards do. But generally they've done a very good job bar the Marsch debarcle. Lets not forget most here thought it was an excellent signing too and the percentage vote was to keep him IIRC, just before the World Cup. So most here would havemade the ame error. Me included.

It's hypocracy to blame the board for something most of us would have done (although I'd have never fired Bielsa, he earned the right to fight the relegation battle) but there were more posts for him to go here than to stay and fight and an awful lot of "embarrassed" posters wanting him gone.. So again siding with the board.

They've backed their managers to the hilt, added quality, built and rebuilt the youth squads from nothing. Let players make their own deceisions to go or stay... Followed the team with the passion of a fan. All I ask is thye try their best and I thinnk they're doing that.

I renewed last week, and struggled for three days before doing so.

I rang the club, and in the end had to remove my auto-cup scheme to get it through. He told me to add the auto-cup scheme in the close season.

We took out loans against future tv money, so the bank will get them, not us. The blunts did the same, which is why they had financial issues this year.

Interestingly last season Brentford had a run of 1 point from 8 matches which saw them slump from looking safe in midtable to being in real relegation trouble with just 24 points from 27 matches. Did they panic and sack the manager that had got them promoted or did they keep faith in their manager? Their board realised they had a good manager and kept faith in him, knowing that the bad run was schewed by a few injuries and having to face the likes of Man U, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal during that 8 match run. They kept faith in their manager and won 5 of the next 6 matches and comfortably stayed up.

Two of the fans I travel with had the same problem.

We shouldn't have to spend hours waiting on a phone, which is down to a blip in their system.

LUFC have our e.mail addresses, so they should be informing their customers of the problem.
