Absolutely gutted waking up to the news about Terry, first saw the Specials 1980 Swindon Leisure Centre, what a weekend that was. Along with The Jam one of the bands that with their music helped get me through life.

Too Much Too Young is one of my all time favourite songs and my ringtone for my eldest who absolutely loves the Specials.

Started a Specials AKA fest at 09.00 this morning which will last all day just gotta work out a way to build it into 3 Teams calls today

Gutted to hear the news about Terry Hall. Ghost Town was the first 45 I ever bought and that first album was probably played every day for a year after it was released. The message resonated just as much in troubled NI as it did in Coventry, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds.... RIP Terry

Do nothing was a favourite of mine, although I'm predominantly a rock / metal fan, one cannot underestimate to influence the specials / two tone era had on the music scene.

George Cohen, one of England's 1996 World Cup team winners has passed away today.

Sir Alf Ramsey was unequivocal in his view, calling Cohen "England's greatest right-back", a view supported by legendary Manchester United winger George Best, who claimed he was "the best full-back I ever played against".

RIP George.

That leaves (I think) Bobby Charlton and Geoff Hurst as the only remaining members of that most famous of England sides still alive.

I remember being in our local pub (before it became a superb restaurant (you'll remember the restaurant well Leon) I was playing pool and heard this amazing music. I went off and found the jukebox to see what it was. It was Insomnia. I couldn't believe how good it was ( in fact its Mr Swans ringtone on his phone ). We have all their albums.
