Both games I’ve watched he’s been in the top 3 players for mine. Really like him.

For £22m  Not going to happen. Roca will be worth double that next year. You can already see he is quality...

Well if Pep wants Roca then it means Kalvin has failed.... We sell Roca for 50, get Kalvin back for 15. Lets see.... 35M investment nets 95M

Wouldn't want him back as a failure who masterminded his own transfer.

Kalvin won't fail at City. Pep has plans for his future.

Roca is looking like the signing of the summer. Early days yet, but he's clearly class.

We are just a stepping stone for progressive players at ER nowadays.
I accept it’s gutting, but we’ve got to be realistic at the moment. IMO our key aim for the forthcoming season is once again to stay in the PL, I’d much prefer it not to come down to injury time in the last game, but I don’t see us challenging for a European spot.

Thus we’ve got to accept if players do well they’re going to attract interest. That will either appeal to them for a variety of reasons or the management for the financial return. Hopefully we can slowly build until we reach the point where we are challenging for Europe & can attract & retain better players.

What we’ve found (& others have too), there’s a massive difference in quality between the PL & Championship & that’s driven by money spent on players and wages. You need a long run in the PL to build the necessary squad quality, & even then as we saw with Everton last year spending £500m can still leave you at the risk of going down.

So I say let’s enjoy players like Roca as we did Raphinha & if we prove to be a stepping stone let’s hope it’s on the back of them contributing to our sustained PL presence & success, & not as a result of selling them for buttons if we’re relegated.

Harsh ! but true.

He's gone, so let's all move on, I support Leeds not Phillips.

Roca looks good; hopefully, he can fill the void. I thought Darko played some great passes. Kristensen has done well down under but he may struggle against some fast PL wingers. Jury's still out on the rest of the signings but with a few more games we might get more incisive.

P.S. Roca has moved to a big club in Munich and didn't get the game time; it might mean he's less likely to have his head turned?

I thought Roca had a decent game v Everton.

These stats prove my point.

One of those that goes unnoticed. I'll admit that I upgraded my rating after watching the game a second time.

As did I Andrew. I thought both Roca and Adams were very good. If we drop points this season it's because we can't score. Not because the midfield and defense have let us down. We're only conceding a goal per game. I'll take that over the course of the season....

Definitely and I think there is a lot more to come for him as he gets an understanding with Adams and others.

Indeed, Adams & Roca have made a massive difference to our midfield steadying the ship.

Watching a repeat of our games with less emotion as oppose to watching live can change ones opinions on certain players. Kristensen had a better game then I initially thought second time round.

£4 a month for LUTV is worth every penny imo!

Already equalled Kalvin's PL goal tally and scored more than Forshaw has for Leeds lol

Did Kalvin ever get into the 6 yard box in open play?

I'm happy with Roca and Adams. Adams looks as good as Phillips. We definitely came out on top with the Phillips sale and 2 midfielder purchase.

Decent game Marc on Sunday.

Seemed to get forward a bit more and put himself about more.

Used the ball well to which was reflected in his 80+% pass accuracy and protected the backline well to making the joint most tackles with Kristensen

Yes Roca & Adams providing us with much more stability though the middle of the park, Marc took the best corner-kick of the game.
