Going off that, i think at least 4 of these should start v EFC tomorrow along with Cresswell and Shack.

Just seen the highlights, well done lads but the forest keeper had a nightmare, proper shocker.

Agree with that. We're none of their 20 signings a keeper? Surprised with all those signings that the reserves looked so weak.

I haven't been vociferous about signing a 1st team left back. Obvious the club haa backed Fripo aa 1st choice.

But we really need a youth left back for development and back up. We've signed top reserves like Gelhardt, Greenwood, Summerville, Drameh, Gyabi, Perkins. But no left back. Huggins was our last decent one for 2 seasons. And even he was a converted right footed winger.

That second half was something else, we absolutely dominated it. Gyabi and Gray between them really drove the midfield with great play from the team as a whole.

Felt that Max Dean was busy when he came on, and although poor from their keeper I think to get onto the end ball and put it away was class.

Positive game and an equally positive future for the club.

Bloody hell our keeper looks small.

Perkins probably the next to make a subs appearance for the firsts.

It will be hard for any of them to make the bench once Cooper, Ayling, Bamford and Firpo are all fit.
Perkins looks a very good finisher though.

You are forgetting that once those 4 are fit there will be another 4 on the table Image

Same thoughts on keeper

He's 5th choice though. We've got 3 first team keepers. And Danny Van De Heuvel injured.

Perkins looks ready for bench now. Gyabi looks really close too. Hype was on Gray pre-season but I think he's behind Gyabi in development.

Good start to the season. Looking every bit as promising as they did 2 years ago when they got promoted.

While they have some real quality in attack, I'm not sure they have the same quality of depth in defence to sustain this over a whole season.

When we got promoted it was Cresswell, Casey, Drameh, and Huggins at the back. All were on the edge of the first team that season. This season, I think Mullen is the only stand out but not close to first team yet. It did surprise me that we didn't invest something there in our summer recruitment. Especially at left back.

Strange as we have no recognised left-back in the first-team of the U21's.

Lets hope Firpo proves the majority of us wrong when he returns, I not holding my breath though.
