Fair to middling moggy
Apart from spending 4 days in the RVI and 3× blood transfusions not being able to eat much or drink struggling to walk to the bottom of the street and getting tret like a fooking invalid by my kids and grandkids....I otherwise feel great
Hooever they've give me liquid morphine and I'm taken it with my homemade space cakes and keep getting the urge to get on a trampoline,
Seeing the headhoncho Mr Atherton on Monday at the Freeman
If my blood count is still too low then chemo will not be an option.
Been as fit as a butchers dog all my life then this tumor carry on came out the blue,
If they give me chemo it's then a 12/15 hour op where they basically take your innards out to get at the bad stuff then make a new oscophecus from you stomach
For a 50/50 survival? it's life threatening and life changing in a way I'm hoping they say they can't treat it.

Called into maggies at the Freeman the other week great people and a lovely chilled out garden and roof garden, anyone about to snuff it I can reccomend it especially with a bit of hemp....

I lost my Dad to lung cancer 18 years ago and my father in law to cancer 14 years ago, so that shite has been a big part of my life too.

I hope the medical folks can at least alleviate some of the pain for you, but there's always the natural remedy of a few bottles of Brown Dog

Hey up Liggy, hows tha feeling today, hope youv'e had a comfortable weekend fella ?
Did you once mention your'e from the Blyth area !! I used to go offshore from Blyth port to the meteorological station in the sea, working on the masts out there, I used to stay at a hotel nearby, think it was called the 'horseshoes' !!! something like that, had a big bar / dining area I remember that, when getting back onshore went to the oddfellows and another rundown gaff before heading back to hotel.

Tbh been feeling like dog s**t since Friday,
Had to call in to ward 36 for pre-chemo bloods on sunday....and my macmillan nurse ( claire) told me my blood count has come up,
So I started on steroids yesterday crikey they give you a boost I even got my appetite back,
Ive been sitting in a chair now for a couple hours now at the NCCC Freeman hospital getting a 5 hour infusion here and a and then they fit something to your chest with go home to and that's a 10hour overnight infusion ,then back here tomorrow for them to take it out I know some folk winge about the
NHS but they've been absolutely brilliant with me ,
Explaining every step as they go along
The nurse who's doing my infusion is gorgeous
Jacqueline a reet proper bonny lass her brother keeps pigeons over Gateshead.....so I'm going to play this one cool ...I've got my tartan cap with ginger side bits
In my pocket and will Don this later on to impress her
I know she likes me because she said I have lovely veins.


Mentalcase...that'll be the 3 horseshoes at bog houses did it have a big conservatory on the side.
The oddfellows Blyth Quayside nooooooo.

Aye that was the one , decent place to stay to be fair, oddys was a laugh alreet, when youv'e been abseiling from a few hundred feet over the sea even the oddfellows is tame.
Went further up to a place called Eshot with a designated driver for a few beers then to another place witheringburn or somethink like that !! Bit outta t' way but was a change like.
Get that Jackie lass to take thee up coast for some fresh air

Still breathing just not as fast Leon ,
Tuesday I was fine went yem at 2:30pm
With a canister full for another 12/14 hour dose of it.
Still felt OK on Wednesday teatime when got disconnected
Since Thursday I've been totally out of it with pain, eyes scalp stomach even trying to breath is a fooking effort
One positive tho if/when the russkys drop the nuclear weapons I'll be just dandy with the radiation sickness .
