Ensure you have a low tog duvets on your bed.
Use a sheet if quilt is too hot for you.
Change your bed often.
Purchase a fan if required.

Don’t mind the nights it’s the days I worry about. Sitting on a mini digger in the sun is no fun. Early finish for RA though in fairness :horse:

Hayfever is the bane of my life in the summer months.

I love the sun & warmth :sun: :susp: wearing as least clothes as possible makes life so much easier.

I now have about fifteen pairs of trendy shorts :-D

Up at 5.30am this morning, started work at 5.45am until 8am, breakfast now & back to work for a couple of more hours before the heatwave really sets in.

Royal Ascot this afternoon. Bowls match away vs Brid Alex, that will be pleasurable on the seafront this evening, I'll try out my new grey bowls shorts. :-D

RA results/table will be very late tonight if I'm not too knackered.

I'm brown as berry a week prior to our holiday, there's nothing worse than seeing holidaymakers with white legs ;-)

I used to suffer terribly from hay fever as a youngster when it wasn’t that common (a hell of a lot more common these days it seems). The doctor always said I would grow out of it and now, due to oldish age and my medication he’s been more or less proved right, thankfully.

A lot of gardening combined with a bit of sunbathing is the order of the day for me, then tennis this evening - not a bad life to be fair! 🎾🎾🎾

I normally go that silly r@d colour first, you'd think years of working away in extreme climates I'd be weather worn but nah, I still get burnt.
I'm dreadful with insomnia, but last neet I slept well as I was sat out on the patio till 11pm drinking vodka
I used to only like the cold weather up till the age of about 40, now I do like a little warmth on the old bones.

My first hay fever experience was in my mid-40s when we moved back to Yorkshire 22 years ago.

We naturally wake up around 6am, great in the summer months. 7.30am is a lay in for us.

At least the rain is warmer at this time of year. :)
