Questioning his approach isn't an attempt to drive him out. It is an attempt to ask him to think a bit more carefully about his choice of words.
Words can be weapons and he takes on a great responsibility in creating the threads which I value and have said so.
However I would hope that he is wise enough to avoid clickbait type journalism that is prevalent these days.

One key way is to resist the temptation to take what others have said and spin them and presenting it as facts like he did this week and like he has done this season about other members of the Leeds crowd.

It is bloody tiresome.

I wont be say any more but I am sure I can expect a pile on in due course.
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Well if it offends your poor little sensitivities, then you have the option of not reading it.

I'm very relaxed & not taking things to heart, I'm defending someone who I highly regard on here.

I won't stand back & allow someone to slag off a decent Leeds fan who makes a huge contribution to MOT

Any more trashing of long-standing members from relatively newbies & I'll gladly delete their posts.

I have absolutely no issue with the breakfast threads. Like many I look forward to them. This is a forum not BBC news and censorship based upon cross paralleling sources and fact checking is not necessary. They are excellent topics for discussion.

If you read the BBC sport transfer rumour thread they also use questionable source material - this tends to be the nature of sports journalism. No one will die or become worse off if a story isn’t entirely based upon fact.

I find the number of conspiracy theorists who contribute to the threads far more of a worry.
‘’ Radz is a crook who will pocket this and that and run off with the silver’’ is a constant theme - based upon what previous behaviour is beyond me?

It is a forum with lots of contributors, some are sensible and some are fantasists but it makes for an enjoyable read.
No changes please.

Always enjoy reading the Breakfast debates even if I don't always contribute.

Elland does a great job thinking of things to say because as one of the other people who've tried to make them in the past if he is busy it definitely isn't easy to do just occasionally never mind daily.

No problem with how he words things and actually so what if he words things to create controversy and debate?

I've done similar myself in an effort to create more debate and drive additional forum activity.

It's what you do to help a forum thrive imo.

Great job.

I'm a Rads, fan, I'm an Orta fan, I think every player has played their hearts out this season in really difficult circumstances... I love em all. What they've achieved in 5 years is remarkable considering the previous years of stagnation and mis-management

If that makes me a fantasist I'll happily own that title, I've already been called worse here and fairly recently

I'm not a fan of Marsch, mainly because he reminds me of the worst of American Football coaches like Jeff Fischer or Matt Nagy, I really don't like the 4-2-2-2, but if he goes back to the wingers and one up top he could win me over... I love teams that play with wingers, I'll miss that if we don't.

Tyler Roberts has met Brenden Aaronson at Thorp Arch, and, instead of giving him a warm welcome, in his best Charlton Heston voice he told him "You can take that number 11 shirt, from my cold dead hand".

Leon, you don't need to justify your decision, and particularly not to the forum troll. It's total bollocks that this has even been made an issue in the first place.

Smyth is trying to say that Marsch and Orta don't need to worry about recruiting centre backs this Summer. My point is that we have a leaky defence which let in 79 goals, so I am suggesting that we do worry about it.
The fault was in the system - gung ho attacking football - not in the personnel. Marsch will focus more on solidity and less on open attacking football. It won't be as exciting to watch. But we won't ship 79 goals either.

I'm OK with him having a preferred system. We did see him morph that after a few games and it definitely paid off in the last couple of games. I think that morphing may have been dictated by the players he had available. But, even if he is schooled in a certain style, I hope he's intelligent enough to change as necessary. Great coaches don't follow a formula. They create their own style of play. I hope that's what we have in Marsch.

You have to stick your oar in at the slightest fcking opportunity , and yes things do need justifying or we'll become like fcking North Korea here, every gets upset from time to time, just take it on the chin and stop , you must live a sad life

I don't think EB will be bothered by the moron and his many guises, like myself and a fair few more, just ignore them, they hate that when you don't bite, they just end up talking to themselves in their varying names, note the times !!
Keep up the good work Matt

Varying names? Times? Intriguing. Care to spill the beans. Who has multiple names?
