I'm not sure how you got "Box to Box" out of that. He is definitely not that.
Hi Paul....what are your views on Dest?
He looks good on YT..but so can most with good editing
He has a Dutch/Ajax background..but isnt 1st choice now at Barca.
I was thinking maybe £50-£60 million plus Dest & Puig if Barca genuinely want Raph.

Dest is certainly an interesting player. Lots of talent. Dynamic going forward from his Right Fullback position. Not the greatest defender to be honest. Had to be subbed off in some key USA matches in WCQ due to poor performances. But also had a couple not just good but great performances. I would have liked go see him stay at Ajax for at least another season before moving to a big club. But Barca really wanted him. And now they don't....
Arronson will be a good addition, we need another like him now in midfield to replace rodrigo and klich, need at least another 5 because raph will be gone and most likely phillips soon. 2 in midfield 1 striker, LB and RB replacement for phillips.

Hi mate,
Just from the article I read. Which essentially said he would do a lot of the stuff Klich would do.
But I think a lot of Leeds fans are thinking he is the central creative midfield we havent signed in four years.
Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

He isn't a Pablo replacement, he's more of a Saiz and Klich replacement. I don't think he'd be our only midfield signing anyway.

Hi William, not sure I've seen too many people state he is going to be the Pablo-esque playmaker/#10, but he does seem to have something of a Klich about him (when Klich is having a good game) in the way he can find some nice intricate no-look passes. Aaronson though has a great engine (unlike Klich) and plenty of time to improve further. If we could find a Pablo replacement (and KP if he goes), a midfield of KP, Aaronson, and (Pablo) would be superb.

I see what you are saying William. And Leeds supporters are right to think that. For me Klich and Aaronson are completely different players in terms of style. Klich is a box to box midfielder for sure. And he had definite attacking responsibilities in Beilsa's system. Aaronson has been playing more of a Central Attacking Midfield role with Salzburg. For USA he plays left wing in a 4-3-3. But he's not a winger. Both he and Christian Pulisic play the position similarly acting as a playmaker from the left side and often moving centrally. Starting from that position allows them more time and space to see the runners and pick out a pass. Or go directly at defenders and create space for others.
One thing is for sure. He is a Creative Attacking Midfielder that can play centrally or on the left. And nobody on the current squad has his skill set. He brings something different. And different is good for this squad.
Welcome to Leeds United Brenden. i got a good feeling about this guy finally someone with a bit of quality in midfield, onwards and upwards, 1 down at least another 5 to go please radzs.
