Denis Moore! 😂

I remember it well. If you went to school the next morning without having watched Monty Python the night before you were in real trouble, we’d spend all day talking and laughing about it. In truth MPFC could be quite hit and miss but it was very innovative at the time and a must watch for us school kids. Happy memories!

That doesn’t make his decision to sign James the following year a good one, does it? Perhaps Marsch can turn young Dan back into a £25m player. We all live in hope.
Wtf is wrong with James ?

He's got problems with experience, needs to look up, get a load of practice in from senior players about his finishing etc.

There's bags of promise there, he grafts his tits off (probably too much, but nowt wrong in that) the speed will scare some fckers too death when he comes of age and is nurtured properly (Oops Bert's gone) in the right managers hands he's a dream especially this modern game, just very rough around the edges.

You get him using his noggin and timing those runs to perfection, get his positioning right, and keeping a cool head, what could go wrong ? Oh Bert's gone.

You don't pay £25m for "bags of promise", you pay it for the finished article.

Literally dozens of players like James who run fast and often.

Doesn't mean they have promise just means they should have become athletes not footballers

Hadi Sacko could shift.
Aidy White
Cameron Stewart
Jimmy Kebe
Aaron Lennon

Or the poster boy Adama Traore.

People have been saying the mythical "ah when he matures and finds his end product he will be a world beater" for nearly 10years. . . .

It hasn't happened and never will, James is the same

Nice to hear nothing from the boss this week

Serenity.
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

What in this day n age !

Finished article like Salah, Mane ? How much ?

How much are those like Sterling Mahrez £75m ? are they finished article ? Is Costa the finished article or should he be sent to Finland?

£25m peanuts innit ? Weren't we on the verge of £18m until the clown got involved?

Was Ben White considered finished article ? How much did Bert improve him ? From a what - £1m player? To someone we couldn't afford £55m or summert ?

Jog on.

I wonder what his ranking would be after managing a side that conceded 60 goals in 26 PL games this season ? Maybe number 50 ?

No manager can rest on his laurels, - especially one on £8m a year - and as they say with financial investment products ' past performance is not an indicator of future performance. '

Leeds fans have always got antsy about transfer fees.

Imo it is so "championshippy" is that a word?

We are in the rich boys club now. No need to stress about money like before.

And Kenny takes his defence of MB to the next level. Dan James now compared to Mbappe.

What next? Roberts to be the next Messi … just needs more time?

I came on to this thread expecting to read some update from JM regarding player availability for Palace only to see more depressing pages about whether Dan James is good enough, oh and the obligatory argument about Bielsa. Jeez.

That's the attitude I want to see from our manager and players - kill to win. Let's get back to being dirty Leeds.
