Compare all you want, that 3 -3 draw is the last time we put in any kind of decent performance. Since then we've shipped 18 or so goals.
So none of the total batterings since then have been as dispiriting and underwhelming?
We are on a downwards spiral, Bielsa has gone and whoever was in the chair would have a hard time steadying the ship.
The Bert thing is what Kennyb insists on calling Bielsa for some weird reason

We were going down under Bielsa anyway, Sara.
Let's face it we'd only won five games all season, conceding over 60 goals.
I suspected we'd be going down, even with a new coach at the helm.
You have to question our players, none of them showing nowhere near form of last season, I'm unconvinced they are Premier League material to be honest.
We showed promise at Leicester, last night vs Villa we were back to square one, running around like headless chickens with no cohesion to our play.
Championship he we come

What a shambles.
That's the most spineless group of players I've ever seen in a Leeds shirt. Just reverting to hoofball, because they don't have the guts to control the ball and make a pass.
Norwich will come here and win on Sunday because there's no fight in this team at all.
Dean Smith will be laughing his c**k off watching that s**t.
All the faith and trust that's been placed in these players has been completely misplaced.
We lack quality and depth which only results in one thing at this level. I've been saying for ages that this squad needed refreshed and some quality and heart injected, but we didn't bother. So we're reaping what we've sown over several seasons.
Championship here we come and quite possibly League One again the season after.
A pathetic and shameless bunch of talentless spineless individuals.

I guess it was pretty toxic last night Leon?
That's the worst team I've ever seen in a Leeds shirt.
We've placed so much money and faith in these pathetic w**kers.
Surely pride and heart and fight comes from within yourself?
No way these guys are up for a fight, we're the worst team at this level.
I've said for yonks that this squad needed a massive clear out, but the club's been too sentimental.
Expect we'll go down and with this bunch League One will soon be back on the menu.
I'm ashamed of those w**kers.

Correct mate, swiftly followed by League One and some of these players are not even that standard.1964white wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 6:47 am We were going down under Bielsa anyway, Sara.

Now he’s gone, the glaring mistakes he made such as man marking - which supposedly ruined our midfield - are gone, new tactics in place, called for players chosen, players coming back in, new manager in place.
Who’s to blame now after 10 days with the new manager, 2 defeats out of 2, appalling showing on the pitch?
It ain’t Marsch and it sure as hell ain’t Bielsa any more.
Radz lost his bottle, probably under pressure from the 49ers takeover plan. He didn’t look happy tonight at 3-0, nor did Orta who recruited Jesse.
The idiots that called for Berts head have absolutely no idea, and it's hard to converse with them when they are so blind and stupid re footy, if they cannot see why we were fcked at the time of the run of those 4 games, they are not worth engaging with, they know nowt and have got what they wished for.
Last night wasn't a 'team' there was no cohesion whatsoever, and we are now left with a Yank that hasn't a fcking clue, and will not be able to shape this outfit in the required time.
Anybody that can't see why we were fcked over them 4 games, and i had a v bad feeling prior to them that it was going to cost Bert his job and his wonderful plan he had for us, oh so fcking stupid.

I honestly can't see that team winning another game this season. Players like Firpo, Rodrigo and even Raph don't have any urgency about them anymore. We couldn't even pass last night. Everything was either over hit or under hit. We never ever seem to get the second ball. We've no one to target up front so on the rare occasions we get forward, it's only a matter of time before it breaks down and we're chasing back again. Breaks my heart, but as it stands, I don't see this shower of quitters winning another game this season. It was that bad. The rot had set in way before JM arrived.

To be honest mate, the likes of Ayling, Dallas, Forshaw, Meslier were our better players last night.White Riot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 7:00 am I guess it was pretty toxic last night Leon?

Our expensive international signings are not up for a fight, their form is deteriorating as the season draws to a close, players you expect to lift us out of the gloom don't give a damn as they plan their getaway in the summer.
Theoretically, we should be able to build a decent championship squad with the £120 million + sale of players plus the £100m umbrella money, unfortunately we are talking Leeds here where greed will come into play & we'll end up with an average second tier squad. We won't be doing a Fulham or a Norwich next season, that's a certainty.

Last night shouldn’t have come as too much of a surprise, this season has been littered with abject performances following relatively good ones. We have a pathetic bunch of players who give lip service to the fans all week then turn up and play like that.
It has been such a miserable season I’m becoming numb to it now, there is a sense of inevitability I think the players can feel it too. I doff my cap to anyone still holding on to any hope of staying up.

Sad but true mate.
All these players who've spouted about how great Marcelo's been and they owe him so much, what have they given back to him, Leeds and Marsch this season?
A big fat zero

Well, I understood some of them led a revolt against the last manager, who had completely transformed their careers. Whether they'll look back on their roles in his departure with pride is another thing...White Riot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 7:50 am What about them cnuts on the pitch, what have they done this season?

You just haven't the sense.Overman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 4:38 am We were going down like a lead balloon under Bielsa, it's delusional to think otherwise. I really don't get all the romance with Bielsa, he turned us into a laughing stock this season. Conceding almost 60 goals in 25 games, there isn't anything genius about that, just pure ineptitude. As for Marsch, he's clearly been an underwhelming appointment, I'd agree to that.

The players are to blame, they should take a large share of the responsibility for the whole mess.
They have let Bielsa, Marsch & our fans down.
Raphinha, Rodrigo, Llorente & Koch can sod off back to Europe as far as I'm concerned, a bunch of pampered foreigners with no heart or fight in their bellies!
