Phillips might be fined for not wearing his face mask correctly yesterday whilst shopping in selfridges !!

Whilst Marcelo has these thirteen players available, he'll juggle them into position to his heart's content.

Meslier
Ayling
Llorente
Striujk
Dallas
Firpo
Raphinha
Roberts
James
Rodrigo
Harrison
Klich
Shackleton

Fourteen if Koch returns soon.

Medical experts are suggesting that the 2 month time frame is an ambitious target and potentially a little bit of public relations from the club.

3-4months is a more realistic target apparently and the case of Danny Welbeck is being used as evidence.

Welbeck has a similar injury and if he returns on boxing day that will be pretty much bang on 3 months.

Not sure how this can ever be construed as positive given our current plight and why the DM of all rags?

Stupid stupid stupid, very surprised and disappointed with him. The headlines and takeaway points are that he criticises his manager and felt like not even watching his fellow players. Of course it's more nuanced than that but he has got to be smarter and not give them the opportunity to write those headlines.

Good on him, probably saying what many others are thinking. If MB decides to penalise or isolate him, Phillips will have plenty of options ahead of him.

I think he acknowledged the influence Bielsa has had on his career.

Oh he will.

Might be good for him. He'll get a lot more than he got from the Mail for feeding them headlines about his manager and teammates. But it's not good for the club. And I follow the club, not Phillips wallet.

When he cashed his cheque from the Daily Mail, he must have known they wouldn't go with the "player says nice things" headline.

Interesting we announce bids for Raph and KP just before they sign their new contracts, after another joke of a transfer window. :duno: Nice try Angus, but can see through all your spin.

We understand that some fans may disagree with us not signing anyone this window but the board and Marcelo are entirely committed to our youth policy and feel that in supporting this decision through this January window we have shown our commitment to the long term stability of the club. In allowing Summerville and Drameh to leave on loan we feel that they will fully benefit from a diffent schooling elsewhere and we look forward to welcoming them back in the summer. We are confident that with the support of our succesful u23 team and the return of our injured players we will have more than enough to have a succesful end to the season. Andrea and the 49ers are both fully committed to financially sustaining the club until we are fully able to benefit from our policy and furthermore as a sign of this commitment we rejected £100million pounds worth of offers this window.

Saved you a job Angus, copy and post son.
