If we do anything but pack the midfield and play on the counter with that team then MB will deserve every but of criticism he gets if we get battered.

Did I imagine the club saying it was going to blend in the U23’s this season or words to that effect? Haven’t seen much blending so far.
James as a 9 ? Absolutely crazy with Gelhardt on the bench. This 16 obsession is very difficult to understand and really frustrating.

Roberts scored from Midfield last week. He may have started striker (not even sure that's true) but once we reshuffled he dropped back to play the 10 as Dallas dropped back to RB when Ayling went centre

Would have played Cresswell in the middle leaving Ayling on the right.

Would also have played Gelhardt up top, put James on the left, and sat Harrison down.

Going to give this game a swerve today. Many things to get done and can't see us getting owt (couldn't before I saw the lineup either TBH), so will watch it on record later. Usually I'd avoid the score but think it might be better to know it beforehand.
