Re: Today's Games
Tbf he is the similar age to James and Harrison and has 28 goals and 21 assists in the Bundesliga giving him a goal or an assist every 150 mins or so.
Dan James in the Prem is every 271mins and Harrison is every 215mins.
He has shown far more consistency in his end product than both of them during his career
Proper crap tonight though

Hope Smith hangs on to his job well into new year, another club in the mix hopefully.

Re: Today's Games
Five consecutive defeats for Villa.
It would be interesting to see if their cheating ceases if Dean Smith is sacked.
Good tense game to watch.
Two fantastic saves from the Villa keeper Martinez.

Re: Today's Games
Southampton played well for the most part. I was surprised as to how poor Ward Prowse was on corners. He didn’t put in one decent one all night, for such a dead ball specialist. That contributed to them being as harmless as us on corners.
For a guy who shouldn’t have been on the pitch, El Ghazi nearly got Villa back into it in the second half. And as for Buendia, aside from a couple of clever passes, he was redundant and went done with cramp with 20 minutes to go!! What’s that about? Has to be question mark about Villa’s conditioning. All down to Smith as well.

Re: Today's Games
Yeah, they looked ok, but you have to qualify that by saying Villa are absolute pants. That left wing back of Saints almost gave three goals away from stupid pass backs to McCarthy.
Saints will get butchered by the better teams.

Re: Today's Games
I think Smith will be booted soon, they sold Grealish, whose saved their bacon in the past. The players they've bought look so not bothered, that Bailey was a disgrace last night. Same with El Ghazi, who should have been off.
Even McGinn looks shite now, and he's usually a tidy, if annoying player. Would love to see them, Burnley and Norwich go down.
