I guess it really was just a bad day at the office last week. Same team very different result and performance. It was a tough game to have to leave after 10mins to go to work. Watched the Highlights.

Mesliers save was terrific, he seemed to be at a awkward angle and did amazingly well to turn it over the bar.
How sharp was Dallas. First responding the the parry by Lloris to score the first and then first to react to the defensive header out from Klich's forward ball which set us on our way for the second.
And save the best until last.... Raphinha run. How i've missed seeing him tearing down that wing. Personally i thought he should have shot and finished the job, perhaps, because he's that good, he sensed how much his team mate needed a lift. Nice composed finish from Rodrigo.

Cannot decide between Paddy's goal and Rodrigo's...in Paddy case that run and overlap by Ali epitomised his excellence yesterday, and then thepass to Raph from Kock, and superb square ball to Rodrigo... For me I have to go with Paddy's goal simply because of the effort by Ali ... The Dallas goal was a classic poachers goal from a save following a great team build up...TBF all excellent goals.

I like the Bamford goal best. Dallas slipping but passing it to Roberts who slid the ball through to Harrison and then the Alioski overlap and him passing it between three spurs players for Bamford to tap in. great team goal

I didn't take note of that Koch pass to Raph for the third until I watched the highlights.

I didn't get to see the game live as I was in the mountains camping without signal, but watched the game last night and then read the match thread this morning. I'm very glad I wasn't online "live" as I too would have most likely questioned the starting lineup like many others, and then proved to look a right prat as MB's super Leeds tore Spuds apart. Like night and day compared to the Brighton game and can only guess that a combination of MB ironing out the issues from the last game, some better performances from key players, and also how Spuds shaped up for the game all contributed to our dominating win.

Ali MOTM for me, but there wasn't really a bad player on the pitch today. At times Roberts did flounder but I also saw what looked like added desire by him today and he wasn't by any means terrible. Harrison played like he was possessed, and that surely would have impressed Southgate? Also chuffed to see our "New 4" all get some minutes together, for Klich to look like his old self again, and Bamford to break his goal drought, and a goal for Rodders which should do him the world of good.

I fully expect the game against Burnley to be a toil though. The one thing MB still hasn't fully cracked is playing against the Wolves, Brighton, Burnley's of the PL who play turgid safety first football (yeah I know we beat Burnley on our own patch but that wasn't a great watch being polite). Would love to see us put in a dominant display away at Turf Moor.
