One of Deyna's former clubs, brilliant attacking goal scoring midfielder for club & country, had a brief spell with Citeh.

Do I get any credit for that one with my Deyna postMuppet the Cat wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:35 amWestgate - has had a good few names over the years, but the home of Legia Warsaw, Poland. One time European Cup semi-finalists, although you need to back to 1970 since they reached such heady heights.

Of course 64, giving Westgate a sound steer I’m sure. A classy player Deyna. Historically, about the only Polish player I can recall other than Lato and Boniek.........................(Klich isn’t historic before anyone says !)

Probably because the national team hasn’t done anything since it’s period of relative success in the 70/80s Polish players aren’t on the radar to the extent they used to be, although as you point out 64, Lewandowski one of the very best strikers around.
