We've had a few calls already

Where there's money these fraudsters are preying on the vulnerable

Just put the phone down, don't return a call to the tw*ts

I would love to tell these criminals verbally to do one, unfortunately I can't :(

My 90 year old Mum and Dad keep getting an automated voice saying it's from Amazon and that £79 has been taken out of their account, leaving a number to call back on. First time it happened Dad rang his bank and was assured that nothing had been taken. He doesn't answer the phone now to numbers he doesn't know.

Yeah, I've had a couple of these before I was even signed up to Amazon Prime. Even though the call was automated it gave me great pleasure telling it to go and f**k itself before hanging up.

It's only since been predominantly working from home that I realise how many of these calls we get.....usually 2, 3 or 4 a day.

I've just given up answering the house (landline) phone now

We have a £17,567 tax rebate due, all we have to do is reply to the text with our bank details and it will be paid in within 5-7 working days. what a lovely present from HMRC at this time of year.

Scammers here have gone the other way. Telling people that the authorities have discovered that they have defrauded the tax system and that they owe $XXXX which can be paid using iTunes cards.
