Reorganize the message board?

Traffic to this site will increase substantially during the coming season.
How about a reorganization of the message board before it becomes clogged up?
Maybe move non-football topics off into a separate folder or something.
And that way, any offensive/political/spam message threads can be isolated and closed down if necessary.

We've had seperate forums for various things in the past, issue is that people tend not to look int sub-forums. Looking at some other Leeds boards with sub-forums they tend not to be as busy, one of the reasons for our success I think has been everything being in one place.

The competitions being on the main forum is a trial to see if it encourages people to participate. I'm not sure if that clutters the board and is getting in the way of other topics, we'll see how it goes.

We have trebled the amount of players participating in the football competitions since moving them from the Predictions Forum to the Leeds United Chat Forum.

The music threads are ignored once they drop near the bottom of the first page

With all due respect to our members, several don't look beyond the first six topics let alone reading another forum.

It's like a sweetie shop displaying all their favourite chocolate bars on the counter near the tills
