They do look delicious, love my fruit & vegetables

I have friends who don't know what a vegetable looks like

They look yummy Rab, I used to pick loads when we live in Canada, but you always had to be looking over your shoulder for bears on the prowl.

Over the last few weeks we've been up in the mountains here in Bulgaria and came back with a great crop of wild blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, St John's Wort, hazelnut leaves and the Magic Herb, amongst other stuff. This stuff costs a fortune to buy and all good for health.

Too hot to go anywhere the last few days = 36-40C, I'm sweating like a 🐖.

In Canada they have cultivars called high bush blueberries and those are the ones that they usually sell in the shops. I tried to grow them in the garden but they need to be grown in acidic Ericaceous soils otherwise they don't grow well. Most folks in Finland prefer the ones that are picked from the forest. the cultivated ones though bigger are a bit watery and insipid.

I work from home atm, so the good thing is I can spend a lot of time on here/Twitter looking for Leeds news, rather than worrying if my boss is looking over my shoulder!

Experimented with Google Lens to see if it would be able to identify plants. Took snaps of over 50 plants and was amazed how accurate it's answers were. But it is not only plants it works with. You can take a photo of almost anything and it will tell you where you can buy an item, or it will also give you a synopsis of a book you might want to read.

Onto a quiet village close by in Lockton where we found a bench under a huge tree to keep us cool whilst we ate our picnic lunch. Just the two of us with no one around in a peaceful lovely setting

Goathland is lovely 64. We used to visit frequently on our Moors holidays. Love the roaming sheep as well, they would come up to us while we were sat on a bench. There's a lovely walk from Goathland to Gromont along the old disused railway line. We would walk that and then get the North Yorks Railway back to Goathland.

We noticed that three mile walking lane to Gromont around the back end of Goathland

Lovely
