very happy with a 2-0 win , should have been a hat full against a very poor team ,don't like moaning when we win but i thought the passing was woefull , no headers or 2nd balls won in midfield and the stupid bookings were plain stupid but I'm a very happy man .
I could stop drinking but im not a quitter

Lots of sloppy passes from O'Kane.

Have to say though I thought we looked more open when Shaughnessy replaced O'Kane

I wish we'd had Saiz & Alioski in the last seasons team, we'd have been challenging for automatic promotion

Great result today .. regardless of opponent we are Leeds after all and Barnsley isn't a easy game. Do we all agree ? That this has been a successful week 6 points from 9. Surely most of us can , we have to stick with TC, also surely most of us agree ,chopping coaches isn't the way . Moving forward as they say and trying to improve game on game. We all do agree of course I'm certain that this league is hard and no one should forget that. I'm currently reading the book Barca and you know this is where TC has played and maybe he is not only striding but working on his project to not only improve himself but the way forward for this club. MOT.

Saiz and Alioski the difference between the two teams
Without any doubt Harry

Alioski had very little space to squeeze that in, great strike indeed

Excellent through ball, probably the best pass of the game

Probably as bad as Burton imo!

Worst Tykes side I've seen in a long time

I thought Ayling was about to blast it when Alioski took it off his toes and smacked it home.
After the goal Ayling let Alioski ride his furry front bottom. True.

Ran Spurs close in the cup, a team that included Dembele, Ali, Vertonghen, Winks and Liorente.
Draws vs Boro and Wednesday.
Only lost by 1 to Cardiff, Wolves and Sheffield Utd.

Not a bad side at all.

We on the other hand are all or nothing.

Very good or very bad
Sorry Cjay Barnsley were absolutely dire today, the table doesn't lie

You're right Bert a better team would have punished our errors

Take Saiz & Alioski out of our team & we would have been as woeful as the tykes, they attack with purpose giving something for the opposition to think about which takes the pressure off our defence

Really happy with the win but I'm not getting carried away with this victory

Weidwald - 7 - Not a lot to do, but bar one wobble, did what he had to. An improvement on Lonergan.
Ayling - 7 - Excellent supporting Alioski, but troubled regularly by their wingers. Managed his customary flop on the ball.
Beradi - 7 - A vital 6 yd box clearance, and better than he has been recently.
Jansson - 7 - Generally solid, but a couple of errors and a soft early booking.
Cooper - 8 - Several vital blocks and clearances. Good game for the skipper.
Alioski - 8 - Slow start, but a lovely pass for Saiz's goal, and a great finish for his own. Did his defensive duties as well.
O'Kane - 5 - Not at the races today
Phillips - 7 - Won lots of ball, but occasionally wasteful.
Hernandez - 6 - An enigma. Set pieces off it today, and we had a lot of them. Lovely ball for Ekuban's chance.
Saiz - 9 - Gets your hopes up every time he is on the ball. Sometimes overdoes it, but he is so strong and skilful. Nice goal.
Ekuban - 8 - Very impressive. Tracked back and made several vital tackles. Also plenty of good stuff at the right end. A shame he didn't score.

Roofe - 5 - A downgrade on Ekuban, but not much time to impact the game.
Shaughnessy - 7 - Added a more physical prescence. Won headers and tackles in midfield.
Grot - 6 - One nice run, but little time.
Delapsus Resurgam - When I fall I shall rise!
