Wonder if this one will actually arrive! We had Storm Doris a few weeks ago which turned out to be a damp squib so the powers that be have obviously decided to recycle the name
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

50,000 homes on west coast of Ireland without power, some structural damage (slates off roofs, fences down etc); not great, but could have been worse

I try to get up there 2/3 times a year , I do a lot of travelling worldwide but theres no place on earth like the highlands of Scotland , will be travelling up early march for a week in fort William , love it all up there especially glenfinan and mallaig .
anybody fancy a cheap one in march try the ben nevis hotel 7 nights bed breakfast and evening meal with pool sauna and gym for £270 .
I could stop drinking but im not a quitter

We love it up here too, once came for 4 weeks in the summer, still great but the winter has the edge for us, especially if we get snow.

I've quote this post incorrectly Swan this has been posted by me & not your goodselfwhiteswan wrote:Looks like a lovely place to stay 64, and I see they allow our four legged friends to stay free of charge. NiceThat's what I always look for, pet friendly and homely. Are you actually there now? or have I misunderstood "is the one we're staying in now" ?
Yes talking of pets our beautiful boy Casper (in my avatar) is being looked after by his Auntie Jane
The place is fascinating with it's style so much class I could spend hours in the bathroom
We only realised whilst talking with the waitresses that the owner owns another one of our favourite haunts The Copper Horse at Seamar where we are intending to have a meal on our way home
