I get it for the temperatures.

But I still see it as a money grab and an opportunity to break up the game and give the coaches a chance for a tactical chat.

It's needed sometimes but I think it should he more controlled.

No tactical chats, only in certain temperatures.

The breaks in play should be used for singing abusive songs and chants against Infantino! Especially is he is present

Re: hydration breaks, I’ve come around to some degree after having been a purist at the start of the tournament. Some of the temps played in have been extraordinary (Mexicos venues, Kansas City and Miami come to mind stateside). And the breaks haven’t been long enough to show much in the form commercials (thank God!). There have been some instances of slowing/altering momentum, but generally, they haven’t been as awful as I originally had thought.

Generally curious what others thoughts are now that we’re this far in the tournament.

We've had hydration breaks in this country for a while for temps above 30. But not needed when it's cool or raining and should not be used to have team talks or tactical changes (time outs) unless you actually want to "Americanise" the game..

Appalling decision to send off Balogun, clearly accidental with zero intent, and it could have cost the States. Apart from that comfortable win after an even first 15 minutes...

Didn't watch the whole game but the US played very well I felt (from the bits I watched)

Balogun very useful, strong, quick, good movement (fell over a bit) but was impressed

Unlucky with the sending off, nasty outcome but totally unintentional (perhaps a yellow if anything).

I like Tillman, said before in other games I think he's your best player.
