As well as the Charles offer rejection.

We have entered negotiations for Japan goalie Zion Suzuki (with Aston Villa as well).

And have spoken to Borussia Mönchengladbach about Swiss centre back Nico Elvedi (lord knows why we need another right footed 29 year old cb). Wouldn't be cheap either probably £10mil

Noooooooooooo, put everything into James Trafford.

Proper player he is.

We've been linked to Elvedi before?

Yeah

Farke worked with him briefly in Germany.

Hopefully just an easy link.

Highly unlikely he will stay at City, highly unlikely he will drop down to the Championship so we will find out soon enough.

I’d have him in a heartbeat, definitely an upgrade on what we have and that’s with immense respect to Darlow.

Tbf whenever I've watched Japan Suzuki looks a good young goalie.

Of the two whilst I rate Trafford his top level record isn't good, 1 poor season with Burnley.

And English player tax and an improvement on whatever astronomical wages Man City gave him.

Suzuki is number 1 for his country and played last 2 seasons in Serie A.

Rather than a team of Welsh players think I'd rather sign the Japanese team :)

Hopefully we are swift with our decision

Meslier has a much better premiership record than Trafford... I'd go Suzuki but if we sell Perri we ain't getting our money back

Very very sad day for Leeds, 20m is nothing for a left sided centre back with his talent, can't blame him I suppose as he probably should be at the World Cup but if Man City are signing Anderson (different positions I know ) for over 100m then Struijk with one year left on his contract is worth a hell of a lot more than 20m

One year left on his contract probably the reason Pascal is going cheap.

It would seem Pascal wants to leave. :(

This, one yr makes a difference. We'll struggle to replace him imo

Yes - at times great but also had a tendency to go diving into tackles and getting caught out. Did a decent enough job for us but we have an opportunity to upgrade difficult as finding a left footed CH might be. It's a fair price for a player with just a year left on his contract and not interested in signing a new one

If Pascal wants to leave Leeds United to join Brighton then he needs to give his head a shake

Most CB do tbf, Bijol incredibly clumsy and Rodon has errors in him too. Struijk's vision and top class passing will be missed. Left footed CB are hard to find
