Unfortunately I was brought back down to earth with a bump on Monday evening. Like yourself me and the Mrs were some of the last people to leave the ground, so about 10.45pm when we had walked back to the car to find some little scrot had smashed the back window of the car got inside and made a right mess, nicked a few bits & bobs, nothing of any great value just all the damage. I was so angry, if I had caught him I honestly think I would have broke him into pieces
Anyway nothing that can't be sorted, just took the edge of the night.

What a horrible end to what should have been a perfect night John. Probably lucky that you didn’t catch him, we all know who would have ended up in court.

How did you manage to clean up the glass in your car on the night?

Fortunately most of the glass was in the rear of the car and there was only two of us sitting in the front, had to pick quite a few pieces off the front seats then put a couple of towels we keep in the boot for odd picnics over the front seats. It was a little bit fresh travelling back to Donny without the rear window. Received our crime number from West Yorkshire Police within three hours of reporting it when we got home in the early hours, then at 07.30am on Tuesday received an update from WYP, case closed, no further action

Parked just off Elland Road up near Cemetery road, rightside of the ground for us getting back to Donny. Must have parked there a few hundred times over the years without an ounce of trouble, unfortunately it's the way things are nowadays and it makes me so angry
