Proper game this one. Still in front thanks to a brilliant tackle from Amps.

1-0 HT courtesy of a keeper error ... great work from Aaronson to force the error. Simple finish for Solomon who's been stand out first half.

Despite being ahead, we've been poor once again and let the wendies and 52-year-old Barry Bannan dictate the game. I don't see us holding out for 1-0, so we need a 2nd. Also can we stop the back passes to Mes while he's low on confidence?

What a brilliant half. Didn't give them a sniff of the ball. Cruising!!! Illan has been magnificent. Top of the league where we belong. Fantastic Farke.

Doing OK without looking entirely convincing.
Some nice link play from the front 4, good work from Aaronson for the goal and Solomon with a good finish (all be it a goalie error) and few decent efforts from James.
Some iffy moments, couple from set pieces where the ball landed kindly thankfully.
Potential goal saving challenge from Amps on Windass and the Valery chance.
Could go either way this.
Like to see us use Solomon more.

Reminds me of the Hull game last season, when we scored early but then sat back and let them back into the game, before two late goals won it.

No way should Mes have been beaten at his far post.Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 12:53 pm Doing OK without looking entirely convincing.

Great way to start the game, lovely pass from Rothwell, means they have to come out and play which isnt what many teams want to do at Elland Road. We are too easily by passed in midfield at times, which leads to them looking dangerous. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 12:48 pm 1-0 HT courtesy of a keeper error ... great work from Aaronson to force the error. More goals to come in this game, be very surprised if it stays 1-0

Not playing very well and I'll be amazed if Wednesday don't score, hope I am amazed!

An exciting game so far, and we're ahead at the half, deservedly I'd say. Hoping we can add to our lead and make this a solid afternoon for all!

Wednesday don't have the quality to force a goal, they could score via some luck or an error though..

Nice work from Aaronson and James who crosses beautifully, but Piroe can't quite get a foot to it

Need the 2nd, don’t want this going to the last 10 mins at 1-0.

Dare I say it?
Aaronson has been very good today, looking more like a proper ten.
