Struijk to Spurs looks like a possibility

Very unlikely but would definitely take the money as long it's decent.

It is evident getting the first goal is pretty crucial against teams away from home that want to sit deep and look to catch us on the break.

The keys issues for me are:

1/ Amps return makes us less vulnerable to the opposition breaking without pressure. His recovery pace adds a huge boon to us defensively. Watching Bogle struggle to get back emphasised why we need him in the sitting DCM role.

2/ our lack of composure when looking for the first goal needs to improve. It is not as if we do not create chances to either take the lead or get back in the game. Therefore tactically the setup is not the issue per se. Just our ability to take chances.

3/ whilst Rothwell has improved our deliveries at the set piece, particular corners there is still a level of predictability. If the opposition can block Struijk and Rodon we do not really have anyone else who can really challenge the opposition big lumps aerially, unless they make a mistake and it drops kindly for one of our many midgets. Do we ever do short corners or mix it up rather than lump it in the box.

Forwards miss chances it happens with every team. But our quality when we go behind becomes ragged, we just try and get it in the 6 yard box by whatever means. Preston cut out a significant number of our crosses, they defended well, but when you know where the ball is going to go 9 times out of 10 - it makes defending much easier.
