Waiting for the day when a young manager takes over at a Hearts or Aberdeen and in fact any other club than the top two. Builds a side
and then thrashes Rangers and Celtic... Can you imagine the panic!!! Might not happen for a while.....

Shock news: Celtic, Rangers and Motherwell fined for fans burning flares at games. The biggest shock being that Motherwell have fans.

Speaking as a Hibs fan, one who remembers when other teams could split The Ugly Sisters on a regular basis, I share your optimism, but I can’t see it happening any time soon unless an oil sheikh decides to buy one of us lesser clubsMusicman1965 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 1:11 pm Waiting for the day when a young manager takes over at a Hearts or Aberdeen and in fact any other club than the top two. Watched the highlights and was so surprised by the amount of chances Hibs created. They got behind your defence and bang! its in...
The scoreline doesn't really tell the whole story but Hibs aren't a million miles away from a decent side...

Its all about money , just like in any other league especially the EPL where it's at it's most prevalent.
Was talking to my old c@ltic mate last week and he already knows they've won the league, he wasn't gloating, he's a very nice fellow and a good footballer in his days, just being realistic that they have far the better squad and finances.

A dependable goalkeeper , a decent centre half and striker who can actually score on a regular basis and we'd be sortedMusicman1965 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 10:14 am Watched the highlights and was so surprised by the amount of chances Hibs created. They got behind your defence and bang! its in...

Rangers 1- 1 Spurs. A really cracking game of football. Rangers probably should have won, they’ve run blood to water, no idea how they’ll recover in time for Sundays League Cup final against that other team. Never gave spurs a second on the ball. Two geriatric goalkeepers both played exceptionally well. Good advert for Scottish fitba.

Rangers draw first blood in the New Year Old Firm game. Schmeichel beaten from 20 yards, then another clatters his crossbar with him rooted to the spot.
If you aren’t watching, turn this on, the passion will make you forget yesterday’s yawn fest.

I’m wondering if Leeds and Rangers share a forwards coach? With better finishing they could be 4 up. Celtic not functioning at the moment.

HT 1-0 Rangers. This could easily boil over in the second. Halftime time comes just in time to reduce the temperature.

It’s a different dynamic up here BB. You don’t show your colours for either side day to day, unless you are terminally stupid.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 4:29 pm Shame really, must be odd for the players and attending fans.

Re: Scottish Football Thread
I love watching these games. It’s so refreshing to watch something other than teams parking the bus. The skills aren’t great but there’s no questioning the passion.
