Just a question for those that watch on Sky
Not sure if I have the same channel names as the UK. But whenever Leeds are on Sky Sports Arena, I always get really bad freezing. Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event never seem to have a problem.

Could be the Super Bowl right there. Bills picking up steam while KC has been lucky.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 9:54 pm Good year to be a Lions fan. And (my team) the Bills. Although we'll lose in the playoffs to KC regardless of what happens.

I, for one, will be pulling for the Lions. What a deserving fanbase to have such a team. I remember the Wayne Fontes era and feeling so sorry for them…they were original “bags on their heads” fanbase.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 9:53 pm Indeed Joe! Enjoy Thanksgiving. I hope you and your family have a GREAT day!!
I'm looking forward to a great meal and some Detroit Lions football. First time in my almost 62 years on the planet that the Lions have an elite team. With the best record in the NFL.![]()

A strange game really.
We seemed good value for our lead but goal line clearance, free header back post, Luton could have scored 2 or 3 themselves.
Odd.
But anyway decent really, 3 goals, 3 points.
Nearly fell off my seat when DF made a sub well before minute 70!!!! Wober did alright, as did James and Ramazani (needs to be playing 10)
Solomon, Piroe and Tanaka imo the standouts further forward (relatively in Tanaka case) I thought Bogle had his best game for us and Struijk and Byram were immense.
Aaronson does some lovely things, nice control, good runs, works hard, but the amount of attacks that die a death because of him is infuriating, maybe he was thinking about Thanksgiving and Turkey tomorrow

Hate KC and Mahomes, if the Pats are Manure then the Chiefs are Chelsea.
The Ravens are likely to shock someone in the post season and if they ever get Diontae going watch out.
NFC is Detroit or Philly I think. Philly started slow but are getting better. Barkley must be threatening OPOTY even if it always goes to a QB

58th minute was just based on it being Byram and not asking too much of him. If the game had been tight and we still needed another goal I doubt Wober would have spotted him.Cjay wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:21 pm A strange game really.

Agree with you on all the player assessments. No complaints about anyone. Piroe looked great as did all of our forward players.
No turkey for Brendan, unless it's lean sliced. Will need him for Saturday. Interestingly he's the only one (other than the center backs) that hasn't been afforded a rest yet. Namely because we don't have a direct replacement.

I initially liked KC and Mahones. He plays QB like nobody else and always delivers when it matters. But I got sick and tired of them beating my Bills in the playoffs every year. Then the Taylor Swift thing happened. And I just started getting really sick of them. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:24 pm Hate KC and Mahomes if the Pats are Manure then the Chiefs are Chelsea.

My coverage keeps stalling so I'm a minute behind. It actually froze on BYram for 10 seconds teeing that one up. Perfect freeze moment

He's probably had a kick up the backside.Clitheroe White wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 8:11 pm Piroe seems more mobile tonight. Popping up and getting hold of the ball a lot more. Why doesn't he do this every game?
Piroe was very good tonight.

Did you see the vid of him berating an ump for not telling him a defender was closing fast when he got sacked. He's getting the Umpiring decisions Brady got. I used to hate Brady too but he's a Raider now so forgiven, sort of.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:27 pm I initially liked KC and Mahones. I get to see them Friday evening v the Chiefs. Almost certain defeat as we have a really bad QB and only Brock and Jakobi as offensive threats. I'll still watch

Re: Leeds Utd v Luton Town Match Thread
A nice regulation no stress win.
Just what we would hope for
Tanaka and Rothwell in the engine room, Wee Willy was immense and Struijk and Meslier with some great moments,
Goals off the bench too. Dan James loves a home goal just as much as Wee Willy likes to knock them in away from home.
Aaronson confounds me, remember that he was on Bielsas list, he has the talent but doesnt yet have a footballing brain.

I can't think of that play. But last season he was certainly developing a sense of entitlement. He'd been quite humble previously. Last season, with the previous SB wins and all the celeb pizzazz it definitely seemed like they were starting to sound a bit entitled. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:35 pm Did you see the vid of him berating an ump for not telling him a defender was closing fast when he got sacked. Can't really pick a fault anyone today. Well, I could. But 3-0 and a fairly routine home win. Nothing worth complaining about.Irish Ian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:35 pm A nice regulation no stress win.
