Re: Leeds Utd v Luton Town Match Thread
Have a friend here who has built a pub in his basement. He's a master woodworker; once inside you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in England. There's even an autographed photo of Jurgen Klopp welcoming people to the Star and Dragon on the wall.
He's a huge Liverpool fan, so he'll be watching them play some team from Spain today, but he's nice enough to put the Leeds game on a second television for me. So there will be eight or ten philistines watching the Liverpool game today while I will take a stand for civilization and cheer for Leeds.

Unless there are any injuries expect the same starting 11 fromSunday.
Luton arent as bad as their league position looks so they should be able to give us a game

Neither Piroe or Joseph did enough on Sunday to justify being picked tonight so the time is right to bring Bamford back in and I would play the 3 of Solomon , Gnonto and James behind him and let them rotate their positions . From what I have seen of Luton they seem quite open so I would start Byram as he might well get a chance similar to his assist against Swansea . He'll probably get a rest after Firpo comes back so the 3 games in a week shouldn't be so much of an issue..

Re: Leeds Utd v Luton Town Match Thread
DF has in comparison to previous occasions an embarrassment of riches to choose from for this game.
The new G fella could start as the 6’ which offers opportunities to rest 1 of his middle three, or he could play him or Wober at CB to give Rodon or Struijk a rest, although unlikely unless someone is carrying a niggle. Wober for Byram looks very likely.
Willy will start and potentially Joseph. I cannot see him making more than 3 changes and most likely 2 as he likes consistency. But he will have a strong bench whatever he decides. I expect Rami to get minutes tonight.
G starting would be a good match up to their forward ( name escapes me) when defending the set piece.
Lots of possible permutations.

This is what happens when you dedicate your life to one person. Slip ups will happen. Now stop looking at your JP lifesize doll and get on with your job. Good man

Sounds like a great spot even if LUFC is only on a secondary TVJohn in Louisiana wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 2:12 pm Have a friend here who has built a pub in his basement. Did you watch Take Us Home? I was always jealous of that fan that had a pub in his back garden and had friends around watching Leeds game.

I think there will be 1 or 2 changes. One on the wing as Farke has been doing a bit of rotating lately, especially on a busy week. I think Piroe will rest either today or Saturday.

I think "G: would be ideal for the way Farke likes to set up. He's the only proper defensive mid with Amps and Gruev injured. I jiust get the feeling he's still not 100% and ready to start.DDB220 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 4:53 pm DF has in comparison to previous occasions an embarrassment of riches to choose from for this game.

That's unless there's an emergency or suspension, of course.

Fairness to Cjay. He may be a little hopelessly devoted to Piroe. But he does do his homework and research better than anyone.
