I'm Malett from Australia and it's a privilege to be a Leeds supporter. My Dad was born in Leeds so ive been a Leeds supporter since day dot. I'm a supporter for life for one club only in every sport that I support. Leeds Rhinos in the English Super League and the Sydney City Roosters in the NRL.
High on my bucket list is to join you all at Elland Road and soak in the incredible atmosphere that only Leeds supporters can provide. The atmosphere at Elland Road in our 3-1 win against Leicester was mind blowing. It's such a tight top four so we've got to push hard to nail spot one or two.
Looking forward to reading all your comments and learning more about our GREAT club. We love you Leeds Leeds Leeds!
Welcome to the forum mate .
You’re right about the atmosphere at the Leicester game, it was off the scale, one of the best I’ve been involved in to be honest.
A very special night.

Hi everyone, used to post on here under the name lufcconnor. Got rid of my account a while ago during an Internet break, regretted doing so and decided to re-register! Looking forward to chatting on here again, MOT.

Saw the 91/92 side at ER as a kid, then drifted away for a bunch of reasons (being a metalhead introvert teenager, not having Sky TV in our house). Went to the odd game during the wilderness years then fell back in love when I met my partner and her kids in 2018. I mostly look after the dogs while the family goes to the match, but still manage to get to a few friendlies and cup games each season.
Here for friendly, respectful, slightly silly conversation.
Welcome fella!!
What a team 91/92.
What I'd do to have Zico and Dorigo back (as younger players obviously)
I have only spotted this thread now. I first registered a few days ago in order to comment on Illan Meslier and I gave some details there of when I began supporting Leeds Utd. From reading another thread today, regarding people's opinions etc, I saw mention of a £20 subscription and I don't appear to have the details of how to pay this. Please enlighten me about this.

Thank you Barlow Boy and Hector. I definitely would like to contribute. I don't operate through PayPal so is there another way to pay?
I know several people who have problems paying by Paypal, including myself.
Thankfully, an alternative way of payment is generally available.

Hi everyone, I'm Kat. I've been a fan since the relegation in 04, but (controversially) I'm from Huddersfield and was young then so it wasn't until I moved to Leeds when I was older that I started going to more games. I live overseas now but still watch the matches and have a network of Leeds fan friends where I live which is great.
I haven't supported any other English teams but I live in Spain and have a season ticket for my local team (Spanish 4th division). I also like to follow Real Betis and go to their games sometimes. I'm a big sports fan in general so if there are any leagues close to me I will make an effort to follow local teams and go to games if I can.

Hello,
Glad to be here, had a bit of trouble getting in, but my fault
I am a lifelong Unites supporter, seeing them through ups and downs.
Ex. York Road and Beeston but now living down South West Gloucester. last game I saw live was against Swansea a few weeks ago. It was a really bad night weatherwise and the supporters who travelled down from Leeds should have a medal.
First LIVE match at Elland road was when our Dad took us to a match in 1946 it was either Huddersfield we won 5-1 or Bolton we won 3-1. the Last
LIVE match was away at Swansea November 2024. we won 3-4
All being well the coming season will be my 80th. supporting L. U.
Given me much Heart Ache ,Stomach Ache, Happiness.
Wish I have them all again.

Playing against Blackburn tomorrow reminds me that each time we played them and United went in front The 10 of us would sing a well known old song of that time "By by Blackbird" but put in the word Blackburn. before the end all our lads were singing it. did wind the Blackburn mob up.
When it gets to 2-0 tomorrow I shall be singing it down at my local. (under my breath as in
this area they are Rugby Union mad)
Apologies for going on. Jack.
P.s It would be nice if some of you lads would get on your phones for that song and
wind up the other lot
Been a Leeds fan since i was 4 years old when introduced to the club through school mates in Halifax. thats was during the mid seventies, when Liverscum were taking over the old first division dominance and we were on a steady deline. I've never looked back ever since then.
I have experienced the highs and lows of relegations and promotions and the success of Howard Wilkinsons lifting of the old first division title. the heart breaks of double relegation to the league 1 status and near bankruptcy and near death of the club through mismanagement and or a risk that was taken and it went the opposite way of what was expected.
watched owners and managers (first team coaches) come and go where the drama of the board was as important in forums as was the drama on the field.
I fell in love with a club that reflected me as a person, a bit hardheaded sometimes topsy turvy but my love for the club remains throughout. I may not enjoy the roller coaster we're on at times but once i took my seat of this ride, i radically accepted that Leeds will never do things easy and in turn take it as it happens. where else would i find the most fickle yet the most passionate fans in the world? Only at Leeds United the pride of Yorkshire and that white rose.
