It wasn't that long ago that Bamford was picked for England.

Eddie came to my school when I was in my early teens to give us a motivational talk.

You have to wonder what some of those defenders were on for Eddie's second goal ....

Eddies best three season run goal wise 20 (67-70, 95 games) - 16 top seasons - Average GPS - 3.18
Jacks three season run 21 goals (20-23, 107 games) 3 top seasons - Average GPS - 7

We need a sharpshooter for next season. If Bamford stays hopefully he will find some form.
Totally agree.

And Eddie was as good as George Best - shame he was so injury prone. This is good too ;

Laughable to try and imagine Harrison influencing an important match like that FA Cup final

eddie gray will never be remembered or put in the same category as george best , by the fans who saw both play . most fans if asked to vote on who was the better player would choose best all day long . eddie gray was a great player but spent a lot of his career injured and on the sidelines . best was a one off had everything and is remembered has one of the best players in world football , certainly from the british isles .

I saw both, Best would win that battle for me... Bremner though was unrivalled at his position

Doesn't look great Paddy

Also QPR commentator took it well

Very amused by the fact he sounds like Josh Widdicombe.

That being said I thought he was much more involved than Piroe.

Physical and worked hard whilst on.

However not his fault its on Farke it did seem to make us less threatening weirdly.

Not the first time Paddy has shown that side of his game, disgraceful really, no wonder Begovic was going berserk.

From my position in the ground, I thought they’d collided, obviously not.

Real time, it looks like the keeper caught him; slowed down and it's clear simulation from Paddy. He'll get a ban for that

Wait so Paddy admitted it was a dive?

How odd

Be amazed if he doesn't get a ban

There's a difference in diving out the way, and diving like Tom Daley.

In the “dive” clip, doesn’t Bamford get up straight away and hold both hands up in a “no, no, ref” gesture? Surely a cheat rolls around and feigns injury. Not what Paddy does at all.

My interpretation, that’s all.

It's a terribly timed lunge through the air by Begovic, who is clearly nowhere near the ball if PB actually heads it, how high are his studs ?

In real time you're right, although i thought he did well to get out the way of Begovic and thought 'Oh ffs if PB gets a scratch he'll play on it for months off again!!! "

That was my instant thought, but he didn't stay down and roll around like some Spanish twat.

He did well to avoid the lunge of Begovic, he can't do fck all about how it looked.

Yes you're right, he actually did well and showed some skill and speed of thought to avoid.

It's just coz it's Bambi and his reputation precedes him :roflmao:

bamford going at full pelt could easily have crashed into the keeper, and the both of them could have been seriously injured.

he side stepped to avoid the collision and lost his balance, and for that he gets called cheat
