A bit more than on standby. He has already agreed terms, however that was 3 months ago and he's still exploring his.options.

West Ham could lose at the weekend and Benitez is in charge by Monday or they win and Benitez then has to play the waiting game again, that's why he's putting feelers out and talking to clubs.

Phil Hay reporting that Gracia will be confirmed "shortly". Putting aside the underwhelming nature of the appointment (well done Larry, Mo and Curly for royally f**king things up), you would hope shortly means today as we have a HUGE game this weekend. Good luck to the guy, massive job on his hands.

That won't have filled Moyes up with confidence.
No guarantees WHU will stay up either with Rapha, he won't want Championship footy.

In charge at the weekend if his work permit arrives in time.

I'd take Klopp as long as he ran on t' pitch to get Elliot sent off for an innocuous tackle on Pascal 8-)

Wonder why we never talked to Benitez, given he said publically he would be interested.

Suspect things would’ve gone like this between Orta and Benitez :chair:

And we all know how fragile Orta’s ego is…

Managers with really solid reputations aren't joining a club with a takeover crisis, split ownership, no transfer window, a demented DOF and a still thin by Premier League standard squad with the threat of relegation.

Some bad news folks, Sky Sports just reported that Javi Gracia's work permit application has been declined

Good news is that Victor Orta has secured the services of his 500th choice candidate, Manuel :ok:

Well done Victor
