Re: Marsch Out
I would not have Bielsa back. Marsch has to go though but, it's not really his fault! He also wanted a LB and a striker. It is plainly obvious that we had no money to spend that's why Raph and Phillips went (they're both doing well aren't they? Not)! The board are to blame so in effect: Radz is to blame! We carry on like this and we are deffo going down. 49'ers can pi55 off as well for what good they've done (nothing but bought shares)...

Re: Marsch Out
He's good but he's not perfect, very tough to find back to back quality managers, odds were we'd fail with the next 2 after MB. Happens to all teams, wait till Citeh get rid of Pep and watch them have a few down seasons..Cjay wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 9:21 pm Shouldn't go unnoticed that Orta was 100% in on Marsch.
Had studied him for months and was definitely his man.
You have to question a DOF who chooses a manager whose very style negates width to replace a manager who loved width and whose squad was geared towards it.
Marsch isn't the answer but he should never have been the answer.
No big manager will touch us with a bargepole either.

Re: Marsch Out
We looked at Ernesto Valverde as per Phil Hay.
Will never ever understand why we didn't go for him.
He was the obvious candidate with a proven track record of improving on Bielsa's work.

Last season Forshaw was a new signing, this season Bamford is a new signing. If only there was a clue that linked both ideas.

Who gets the sack first, Marsch or Gerrard?

Can’t find any kind of form, the fact most of us on here saw exactly what was coming tonight is testament to that. Dosnt even look like the players are putting in the effort for him anymore - needs sacking tonight

It doesn't matter.....just pay the Yank off...big mistake signing him and probably an Orta 'mates' thing that didn't work out.

Re: Marsch Out
I'm a fan, I have no control over who comes, I'm also 60 and realise I can dream about certain players or managers arriving but can tell you irrespective of whom owns/runs the club it never f**king happens. It's never happened once in 50 plus years watching Leeds
Which is why I have zero interest in the process, let those that are running the club, give them a chance, allow myself some first impressions then see what happens.... He had a chance to succeed here, a very good chance. You absolutely cannot completely turn over the squad in a single season, so Marsch should have adapted his style to the players available not forced the players into a scheme for which they are unsuited. All very well to say we should have added 11 new first team players but where are we if that fails?
We added 7 or 8, that's plenty
