7 assists in the league and now being linked with a move to Manure as he is out of contract next season.

Fair play.

Flip side is Premier League and Serie A different levels in terms of intensity and quality.

And has to be said compared to Juve teams of the past this is a poor one.

But would be interesting if he did come back see if he does better than last time.
Takes more than a season to acclimatize to the prem to be fair for a lot of players.... we only loaned him for half a season?

To be fair to McKennie....He came to us very out of shape and out of form. He had fallen out with Ellegri at Juventus and was sitting on the bench in Turin. And a week after he arrived the Manager that wanted him was fired. He took a lot of s**t on these boards. Much of it justified. Much of it a reaction to his "Friend" online that was posting things negative about LUFC. Even I was fed up with him.

To his credit he went back to Juve and worked his ass off. And to Ellegri's great credit he didn't hold a grudge. He saw the work that McKennie was putting in. He watched his form transform for the better. And now his stock is rising again. He has been one of Juve's best players this season.

Wonder if the shock of being described as sh*t by millions of fans was a wake up call for him. Seemed like he was a star player early in his career, and maybe he found it all too easy and then slipped into (or kept) bad habits. Finally those bad habits caught up with him which is why Juventus were happy to loan him out as he was not working hard enough and longer good enough for them and maybe they were simply hoping some reatrded f*ckwit would agree to buy him. Unfortunately for them we got relegated and their apparently watertight deal fell through. As such they were lumbered with him as no one else wanted him, they stuck him in at full back and the penny clicked with him that he needed to cut down on the big macs and work hard.

Decent player but it was the wrong time for him to be at Leeds.

And now he seems to be on the verge of joining Villa.

Decent for Juve last season.

But again Premier league intensity is different level.

Villa fans finding it amusing the running battle LUFC fans had with the Mckennie fanboys on twitter.

Wait till its them.
