Bielsa says we are told that If a player wants out they can go (this is proven false as Klich and Pablp can testify).
But if he wants out as he clearly.does then why is Bielsa insisting on him staying when it's highly likely he won't use him?
A Real contrary side to Bielsa isn't there.
Perhaps we all don't know Bielsa as well as we think we do.

Its really really weird. A man who has side-lined two of our previously key players for perceived bad discipline or attitude ( Pablo and Jansson) is seemingly insisting on keeping a player who is desperate to leave and literally left the country and missed a game without permission which i would say is a pretty large no no.

Despite the fact Bielsa has barely used him.
Well that's more opinion based than actual fact.
With PJ I don't think he ever fit into what Bielsa wants from a centreback. People use the Villa fallout and PJ coming back late from holiday as to Bielsa getting the hump with him and I think there is some truth to that in that Bielsa is all about the team rather than the indivdual. Throw all that together and he didn't fit Bielsa's plans rather than PJ saying I want to leave.
Again a lot was made of the Pablo reaction to being subbed but something I don't buy into at all as every manager would rather have a player disappointed/angry to be subbed rather than walking off giving high fives etc (unless the team was winning 5-0). It wasn't like Pablo left and moved to another premier league club or even a top level club. Most fans had been saying for years that Pablo needed resting and couldn't play 2 games per week. With Bielsa it is all about trying to play the same team every match and as such Pablo was unlikely to be capable of that. He kept Pablo for the remainder of the season despite Pablo supposedly wanting out so it isn't like he just gets shot off people. Presumably Bielsa sees CS as part of his plans and we don't really know what has been happening with CS in the last couple of months as he hasn't been playing for the U23s or the first team so for all we know he has had personal issues or covid etc.

Sorry but from what we know about Bielsa and how stubborn he is when it comes to player criteria it is totally impossible Jansson didn't fit what he wanted in a cb, he simply wouldn't use him.
All sources say Jansson was sold for 2 reasons, 1 the club needed the money and 2 Bielsa didn't like his attitude, that seems most likely imo.
We don't know for certain what happened with Summerville but it is true he missed a game without permission, reliable sources have confirmed that.
That for me is a massive discipline breach and I'd be shocked if he made another first team appearance under Bielsa.
Effectively we are 2 u23 first 11 player minutes down, him and Drameh
We know how Bielsa feels if he feels questioned or crossed and a player telling him that he wants to leave is unlikely to endear him to a manager who demands 100% loyalty and commitment.
Crysencio has spoken about his conversations with Jesse Marsch.
He has been told to keep working hard and his chance will come.
Interestingly Pascal Struijk did a social media Q&A and he was asked for the hardest player to face in training and he named Raphinha (obviously) and Summerville.

I wonder if Crysencio may stay after all.
I'd like to see him given a chance.
Pascal would struggle to face Mickey Quinn at the moment.
I suppose one issue is if he can play as a wide 10 which sems to be the Marsch way.
I reckon Greenwood -over time- could fit in there ahead of Jimmy.
Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Surely, at the very least, we see what happens with Raphina before doing anything with Jimmy? Seems to me he may be the perfect (if not quite the finished article) replacement. Which would allow us, on the basis that Raphina goes, to spend his fee on more pressing areas like an attacking mid. My hope is he gets some game time when we are safe. Otherwise I suspect Cjay is right and he'll be off in the summer.
"When the going gets weird, the weird get professional!" Hunter S Thompson
Another player, along with Joffy and Cresswell who is too good for the U23's now. Unfortunately he plays the same position as Raphinha so unlikely to get any 1st team game time this season.

There is nothing that gets the attention of a manager quicker than scoring a HT..
I wonder if Jimmy could come off the bench for James? ( or when James is reshuffled to play out wide)

Always said Crycencio was the best player in the 23's including Gelhardt... He can play left but he's much better on the right.. Another cracking Orta signing....

Yes he deserves a chance, he needs to bulk up a bit imo, but that will come, he dosen't need to be a replacement fro raphihna either, drop harrison or james to give him time, and them a much needed kick up the arse.
Harrison / James to LB / LWB summerville LW, JG up front, whats the big deal !!!!!!

I agree MC, he definitely needs to bulk up a bit. You could see it with Costa, he'd get owned out on the pitch. However, Jimmy has bags of potential and is developing into a superb little player.

I going to treat this post with the contempt it deserves.
I remember once at school when being faced with a multiple choice exam paper and the Science teacher explaining to the young Billy Casper at the back of the class...." Look Casper, put your name on the top, and remember this lad...A Monkey with a pin can get 25% of these right, and your gonna get a sore arse if anything less than 25% laddo"
The thick fcker got 20%
