Re: Perri or Darlow to start vs Burnley - Poll of the Day (13th Oct)

Darlow was looking great for a while. Then had a couple of weak goals conceded - granted deflections didn't help, but he looked a little slow to react.

Perri has been slow to settle but he's the better quality. I'd go back to him.

Re: 9 more current PL footballers you dislike, required.

I understand a lot of players on the list. But as a fan of England, I still appreciate them. I recognize Pickford as a twat for Everton. But he's been brilliant so many times for England that I actually like him.

Re: 9 more current PL footballers you dislike, required.

McGinn - nasty at times and we lost a year of Archie because of him. Fernandes - as a player he’s good but for his personality while on the pitch, he’d be my default for the Twat of the Week thread. Both at the top of my list. And Mings for that twattery with Bamford (before Bamford scored the hat t ...

Yes, it is a bit of a concern! Healthier life balance. Gym, working in sobriety, reading, and work. I try not to get too enmeshed in the day to day drama like I used to. I check in daily to glance through the updates. Then turn off and do something more productive. My head feels a lot better for it.

With injuries to James and Gnonto, Rhys Chadwick makes sense. From what I've seen he's the next best prospect after Gray. Better than Chambers who was more advanced last season.

Re: Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur Match Thread

Not enough attacking options on the bench. With Gnonto0 and James out, should have Harry in as an extra option. Not much use having 3 defenders.

Re: Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur Match Thread

That was a real mess of a goal

Longstaff and Ampadu both messed up in the build up

And I really think Darlow should have done better

Mahady and Ombang were both splitting game time. Makes sense that one should go out on loan.

And yeah, we have 4 senior keepers

Jordan James scoring for Leicester. It's like they make these names up after sell us James Justin.

Almost sounds like a Roy of the Rovers name generator.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 30th September) Unconfirmed reports that Dan James' season is over

However, his step up to the top flight has proven far from seamless. Yeah lets cast doubts on his ability With only 216 minutes on the pitch so far this season, Can't play he's usless statistical outlet WhoScored has handed him an underwhelming average rating of 6.05, ranking him a lowly 18th out ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Bournemouth Match Thread

Just reflecting on their equalizer When I watched it in real time, first time, I thought it had to be offside. There's no way two of their players could have been so far ahead of our last defender all alone at the back post. They weren't offside and nobody was even appealing for it. It just showed ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Bournemouth Match Thread

I felt we learnt from that match. We showed today that we could play out from the back but also were better at choosing when to go long. Mixing it up makes it harder for the opposition cos if they commit to a high press they can be very vulnerable. As such they can't press as effectively as Arsenal ...
