Perri or Darlow to start vs Burnley - Poll of the Day (13th Oct)
Should Farke start our £14m summer signing Perri or stick with Darlow?

Darlow, no point in risking a change

Perri.
He was signed as starting keeper Darlow knows this so he shouldn't get stroppy.

Perri.
No point risking playing a mediocre keeper just because he hasn't dropped any clangers yet.

Voted for Perri too, he is the team's number one goalkeeper and the Burnley match is the perfect game to bring him back, as they are not the most attacking.

Perri for this reason but fine if it’s Darlow for now.Onemanstanding wrote: ↑Mon Oct 13, 2025 8:23 am Voted for Perri too, he is the team's number one goalkeeper and the Burnley match is the perfect game to bring him back, as they are not the most attacking.

Perri for me.
Signed to be our no'1 so get him back in provided he's trained well the last couple of weeks.

Darlow for me, took his opportunity and has done a good job, feel Perri should bide his time

Darlow was looking great for a while. Then had a couple of weak goals conceded - granted deflections didn't help, but he looked a little slow to react.
Perri has been slow to settle but he's the better quality. I'd go back to him.

Perri
Was signed as number 1
We've kept 2 cleansheets in 3 games and if we are writing off Arsenal as a blip then he deserves a chance.

The main reason gone for Perri is Darlow has conceded 7 in 2 matches, although last night only 1 he could have done better with imo.

Perri as he’s the long term prospect.
But if he buggers up next few games get Darlow back in permanently because he’s done very little wrong.

This is an interesting question.
Difficult to assume what DF will do. But my gut feeling is that Perri will be back if he is fully back up to speed. His ability to launch quick counters with his throw could be a potent weapon in a game like this. Burnley are likely to commit men forward so there will be gaps to exploit.
Which may be harsh on Darlow considering he hasn’t been too shabby since he came into the team and DF does like continuity. But then the alternative is waiting for Darlow to have a stinker and we cannot afford that possibility to occur.

Perri's distribution aimed at Calvert-Lewin could be a very useful weapon!DDB220 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 15, 2025 9:06 pm This is an interesting question.

Re: Perri or Darlow to start vs Burnley - Poll of the Day (13th Oct)
Perri has to be the number 1 keeper after the money spent and as soon as he is fit he should play. On the other side of the this isn;t it just great for once that no mater who plays Perri or Darlow we know that the postion of goalkeeper is in good hands. This has never been the case for along time. Lets just leave it there...

Re: Perri or Darlow to start vs Burnley - Poll of the Day (13th Oct)
From Farke's presser he feels that Perri is not ready yet.
So it's likely to be Darlow on Saturday. But as soon as Perri is fit he should be back in immediately.
Perri is our number one, and there's a reason why Darlow is a back up goalie. If you persist with Darlow the mistakes will come.
He was questionable with the Spurs goals.
